The 2023 Ashoor Classic was held on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, in Tripoli, Libya. Even though this was one of the smaller IFBB Pro League circuit shows, there were still 2023 Olympia Weekend ramifications for the Classic Physique and Men’s Physique divisions.
The winners of those contests were Christopher Ziller (Classic Physique) and Ayoub Sulayman (Men’s Physique). Both athletes have been added to the rosters of Olympia-qualified athletes for their divisions. The top three for each contest are listed below:

Classic Physique Winner — Christopher Ziller
This was Christopher Ziller’s pro debut. The 2022 NPC Worldwide Amateur Olympia Spain winner made the most of it by not only scoring his first pro win but also his first Olympia qualification.
Ziller will make his Olympia debut in Orlando, FL, on Nov. 2-5, 2023, if he decides to compete. Ziller referred to this achievement as a “lifelong dream” on his social media.
Second Place — Masoud Harouni
Prior to this contest, Harouni’s lone pro contest appearance was the 2020 Romania Muscle Fest Pro, where he ranked seventh overall. Had it not been for Ziller’s late entry into the contest, Harouni would have claimed gold.
Harouni must enter and win another pro show before the 2023 Olympia qualification cutoff on Oct. 9, 2023, to qualify for bodybuilding’s biggest show.
Third Place — Krimo Ammari
This was Krimo Ammari’s fourth contest of the 2023 season and his third time finishing in third place. He also scored bronze at the 2023 Lenda Murray Atlanta Pro and the 2023 Chicago Pro.

Men’s Physique Winner — Ayoub Sulayman
Sulayman was a late entry into this contest. Like Ziller, the move paid off, as Sulayman did not have prior pro experience, according to NPC News Online. However, Sulayman now has a pro win under his belt and joins the rest of the qualified athletes on the Men’s Physique Olympia roster.
Second Place — Ozcan Kirant
This was Kirant’s pro debut, resulting in a runner-up finish. Finishing second in any pro show is worthy of a hat tip, but it does not help him advance to the 2023 Olympia. It’s unknown if he will compete again this season, but if he does, he chances of another podium finish are strong.
Third Place — Cetin Koroglu
Koroglu from Turkey snagged bronze in his 2023 season debut. Before this, he won the 2022 Dubai Pro but did not compete at the 2022 Olympia. His next pro show has yet to be confirmed as of this writing.
