Over 90 IFBB Pro League competitors in three divisions entered the 2023 Sasquatch Pro show in Federal Way, WA, on Saturday, Sept. 9. 2023. 2023 Olympia qualifications for Men’s Physique, Figure, and Bikini divisions were awarded to each division’s respective winner.
Edvan Palmeira won the Men’s Physique title, Wendy Fortino took the win in Figure, and Tamekia Carter stood triumphant in the Bikini division. All three competitors are eligible to compete at the 2023 Olympia in Orlando, FL, on Nov. 2-5, 2023.

Men’s Physique Winner — Edvan Palmeira
This was Palmeira’s 2023 season debut. He was awarded gold with a perfect score from the judges. This is his second pro career victory, and it garnered him his second consecutive Men’s Physique Olympia. Palmeira ranked fifth in the 2022 Olympia contest, won by Erin Banks.
Figure Winner — Wendy Fortino
Fortino was a late entry in the show but resulted in her fourth pro win. Only one point separated Fortino from runner-up Nicole Zenobia Graham on the judges’ scorecards. Paula Rojo claimed the bronze.
Fortino is eligible to compete in the 2023 Figure Olympia for the seventh time in his career. She has finished as high as 14th twice in previously Olympia appearances.

Bikini Division Winner — Tamekia Carter
This was Carter’s fifth show of the 2023 season. She won with a perfect score in the single-round show. Second place went to Malu Duarte, who scored her second runner-up finish in five shows. Yurika Shigemoto had her two-show winning streak snapped at this contest, claiming the bronze position overall.
