Athletes to Watch

Below are the contenders likely to land a first callout:

Alessia Fachhin

Alessia Facchin has already qualified for the Olympia thanks to her win at the 2023 Orchid Pro. This will be her fourth contest of the year.

If Facchin wins, no Olympia qualification will be awarded. Should she not win, her Olympia qualification is still guaranteed. The Italian competitor will vie for her second pro win of 2023 and the fourth of her six-year pro career.

Jordan Brannon

Brannon already has Olympia experience and is fighting to return to that stage. She finished outside the top 15 at the 2022 Olympia. She has competed three times in the 2023 season and placed in the top five every time.

The second-year pro won the 2022 Carolina Excalibur Pro, the lone pro win of her career. She ranked third in this contest one year ago.

Lizzie Martinez

This will be the seventh time that Martinez graces a stage in 2023. Her highest finish was a runner-up effort at the 2023 Chicago Pro. She has finished as low as 12th at the 2023 Nevada State Pro.

Martinez has been a pro since 2018 but still seeks for her first pro win. If she’s learned from past shows and presents a physique better than her Chicago Pro performance, that win may finally come here.

Other Notes

There is a Masters 35 contest for competitors over age 35 also featured in Nevada at this show. The winner will not qualify for the Olympia, but competitors in the Masters show are also eligible to enter the Open show.
