The 2023 Texas State Pro/Am bodybuilding show was held on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, in San Marcus, TX, and it featured 31 IFBB Pro League competitors from both Classic Physique and Figure divisions. The last two standing as champions were 2023 Classic Physique Olympia bronze medalist Urs Kalecinski and 2023 Figure Olympia runner-up Jessica Reyes Padilla.

Classic Physique Winner — Urs Kalecinski
“The Miracle Bear” Kalcinski was coming off a third-place finish at the 2023 Classic Physique Olympia contest in Orlando, FL, on Nov. 4, 2023, behind five-time champion Chris Bumstead. Kalecinski’s result in Orlando automatically qualified him for the 2024 Olympia in Las Vegas, NV, on Oct. 10-13, 2024.
Entering this show not only gave Kalecinski another pro title and the corresponding prize money but also kept another athlete from qualifying for the 2024 Olympia. Only pro show winners earn their Olympia roster spot. Runner-up Mehdi Larijani will have to enter and win another pro show before the cutoff date of Sept. 15, 2024.
Figure Winner — Jessica Reyes Padilla
Padilla was a late addition to this show but had the same opportunity Kalecinski had and took advantage. The 2023 Masters Olympia winner and 2023 Figure Olympia runner-up won with all first-place votes from the judges to take her third pro win of the calendar year. Unfortunately for second-place finisher Rhea Gayle, she will have to look elsewhere for a 2024 Olympia qualification.
