Very few people can say they have won the Olympia six different times. Cydney Gillon is one who can. She would also like to say she has won seven, but Jessica Reyes Padilla is the main contender standing in Gillon’s way.
Those two Figure competitors were among the top 10 athletes in the division to face the judges and fans in the Orange County Convention Center during the Friday night finals on Nov. 3, 2023. The top 10 arrived on stage for final comparisons from head judge Sandy Williamson. Ultimately, the defending champion, Cydney Gillon, retained the crown.

Gillon and Padilla were once again front and center in the last callout. After the confirmation round, the top 10 were introduced individually. The contest concluded with the top five awards presented.
As many expected, Gillon walked away with her seventh gold medal as world champion. She, Padilla, and third-place finisher Lola Montez automatically qualify for the 2024 Figure Olympia in Las Vegas, NV, on Oct. 10-13, 2024. The final results are below:

There is more action to come from the 2023 Olympia. Saturday morning prejudging shows and the Saturday night finals are both still set to take place in the Orange County Convention Center.
Despite the initial rumors that 2019 Mr. Olympia champion Brandon Curry would withdraw from the competition for health concerns, he has since confirmed that he is cleared to compete.
BarBend will continue to provide coverage up until the Sandow Trophy is handed to the champion at the end of Saturday night.
