The all-time drug-tested raw world record deadlift in the Men’s 75-kilogram has fallen. Assuming the mantle is 16-year-old Nikolas You, who scored an astonishing 343-kilogram deadlift (756.2-pound) raw deadlift at the 2023 USPA Drug Tested National Championships in Las Vegas, NV on July 11, 2023.Using an overhand grip in a sumo stance while wearing a lifting belt, You moved a barbell sporting the heaviest weight in drug-tested 75-kilogram class competition history to a lockout that eclipsed the previous world record held by Taylor Atwood by 2.5 kilograms. Atwood’s lift was scored at the 2021 USAPL Raw Nationals. Considering that the bar speed never slowed once it left the floor, and it is clear from the video that You sufficiently pushed his hips through at the lockout to earn the three white lights from the judges following the down command from the floor judge.
According to Open Powerlifting, You appeared in only two sanctioned powerlifting meets prior to the 2023 USPA Drug Tested National Championships, both in the 67.5-kilogram weight class. They are the following events which is secured gold in the Junior 13-15 division of both:

Squat — 165 kilograms (363.8 pounds)
Bench Press — 75 kilograms (165.4 pounds)

With the 2023 USPA Drug Tested National Championships concluding on July 14, 2023, the stakes have increased for the 75-kilogram class at the 2023 USPA Raw Nationals scheduled for July 13-16, 2023, in New Orleans, LA. We’ll see if You’s new record is dominant in the division when some of the best lifters in the USA challenge it on the lifting platform.
