I didn't see a thread on the 2014 World's Strongest Man Contest. It was held in Los Angeles in early 2014. Zydrunas Savickas from Lythiwania won for the 4th time. Hafthor Bjornsson from Iceland was a close 2nd. Brian Shaw was 3rd. He was not 100% and was bothered by a previous biceps tear.
Hafthor Bjornsson was originally from Sweden and he is an amazing physical specimen. He is 6'9" and 395 lbs. with an athletic physique.There are a large number of these large powerful men from Sweden. I believe they are descendants of an ancient Germanic tribe from Sweden called the Goths. They were around 6'10" and carrying a large amount of muscle mass in their upper body.
