Last night was the last episode of the NBC show American Ninja Warrior. None of the contestants successfully completed the course. That means there was no million dollar prize winner. These guys build replicas of some of the obstacles at their home or farm to practice on. However NBC faked them out and had new obstacles they had not seen before and they all ended up falling in the water.
As far as I know, none of them were paid anything. They have to pay for their own transportation to Las Vegas, pay for their own hotel rooms and meals. In the meantime NBC makes big profits on this popular show. Dosen't seem fair, but NBC could care less.
Contrast this with the prize money paid to the winners of the US Open tennis tournament. Both the men and womens winner were paid $3.5 million. What happened to equal pay for equal work? The men have to play the best 3 out of 5 sets. The women only the best 2 out of 3 sets. You can see how much effect feminism has influenced sports.
