Cross-Country 5K Recap
The Individual men and Individual women ran the 5K together. Khrennikov hopped out to the front of the pack to set the pace with ?uki?, Adler, and Hoste behind him. At the two-minute mark, the athletes started to spread out a bit more as hills were present along the course.
Upenieks and Vellner joined the leader’s group, and space separated them from the rest of the field. The commentary team remarked that the course terrain was unknown to the athletes.
