On Sunday, July 9, 2023, athletes from nine IFBB Pro League divisions will compete in the 2023 Mr. Big Evolution Pro show in Estoril, Portugal. This show is one of the biggest IFBB Pro League events in Europe, and there are over 130 competitors across all divisions with goals of qualifying for the 2023 Olympia Weekend in Orlando, FL, on Nov. 2-5, 2023.
2023 Mr. Big Evolution Pro Rosters
The main event of the weekend will be the Men’s Open show, which features nine of those competitors, including a two-time defending champion of this contest. The full rosters are listed below, with names in alphabetical order.

Presti is the two-time defending champion of this show, having won the 2021 Mr. Big Evolution Pro and the 2022 Mr. Big Evolution Pro. Those are the only two wins of his career, but his familiarity with this show could give him an edge. He has yet to qualify for the 2023 Olympia. His best finish so far this season is second place at the 2023 Empro Pro.
Lionel Beyeke
Lionel Beyeke is one of the veterans of the men’s open division, having competed since 2010. He has two wins to his credit, but injuries and issues with traveling have kept him from competing since 2020. If he makes it to this show, it will be his first appearance of the 2023 season.
Vladyslav Sukhoruchko
On the other end of the spectrum is Vladyslav Sukhoruchko, who is a second-year pro. He was fifth at this contest one year ago, but he won the 2022 Yamamoto Cup Pro to qualify for the Olympia, but he finished outside of the top 15. This will be his first appearance of the 2023 season as well.

The winner of this contest will be the tenth athlete to qualify for the 2023 Women’s Physique Olympia. Caroline Alves Dos Santos was the runner-up to Barbara Menage in this contest one year ago. She has felt victory in her past, having won the 2020 Romania Muscle Fest Pro show, but has never competed at the Olympia. If she can peak here, she may earn her way to Orlando in November.
Birgit Andersch
Birgit Andersch of Austria came within one spot of Olympia qualification via her silver-medal finish at the 2023 Empro Pro. That was the first show of her second season in the IFBB Pro League, and she showed the potential to win other shows. None of the athletes in the lineup are qualified for the Olympia going into the contest, so she stands strong a chance as anyone.
Miranda Gonzalez
The 2021 NPC Worldwide Ben Weider Championships Spain show winner took the 2022 season off. That choice paid off when she returned to the stage at the 2023 Empro Pro to a bronze finish. This will be the third pro show of her career. She can be among the most well-defined athletes onstage, and this is the biggest lineup she has been a part of thus far. She is capable of standing out and making a first callout, so keep your eyes on Gonzalez.

Below are the Men’s Open competitors likely to do some damage in first callouts:
Andrea Presti
Presti is the two-time defending champion of this show, having won the 2021 Mr. Big Evolution Pro and the 2022 Mr. Big Evolution Pro. Those are the only two wins of his career, but his familiarity with this show could give him an edge. He has yet to qualify for the 2023 Olympia. His best finish so far this season is second place at the 2023 Empro Pro.
Lionel Beyeke
Lionel Beyeke is one of the veterans of the men’s open division, having competed since 2010. He has two wins to his credit, but injuries and issues with traveling have kept him from competing since 2020. If he makes it to this show, it will be his first appearance of the 2023 season.
Vladyslav Sukhoruchko
On the other end of the spectrum is Vladyslav Sukhoruchko, who is a second-year pro. He was fifth at this contest one year ago, but he won the 2022 Yamamoto Cup Pro to qualify for the Olympia, but he finished outside of the top 15. This will be his first appearance of the 2023 season as well.

Women’s Physique Athletes to Watch
Below are three Women’s Physique athletes who could challenge for the podium:
Caroline Alves Dos Santos
The winner of this contest will be the tenth athlete to qualify for the 2023 Women’s Physique Olympia. Caroline Alves Dos Santos was the runner-up to Barbara Menage in this contest one year ago. She has felt victory in her past, having won the 2020 Romania Muscle Fest Pro show, but has never competed at the Olympia. If she can peak here, she may earn her way to Orlando in November.
Birgit Andersch
Birgit Andersch of Austria came within one spot of Olympia qualification via her silver-medal finish at the 2023 Empro Pro. That was the first show of her second season in the IFBB Pro League, and she showed the potential to win other shows. None of the athletes in the lineup are qualified for the Olympia going into the contest, so she stands strong a chance as anyone.
Miranda Gonzalez
The 2021 NPC Worldwide Ben Weider Championships Spain show winner took the 2022 season off. That choice paid off when she returned to the stage at the 2023 Empro Pro to a bronze finish. This will be the third pro show of her career. She can be among the most well-defined athletes onstage, and this is the biggest lineup she has been a part of thus far. She is capable of standing out and making a first callout, so keep your eyes on Gonzalez.
