The 2023 Rogue Invitational had to make some schedule changes for the strongman competition due to the inclement weather in Round Rock, TX. The “Iron Bull” event had to move inside to a concourse in the Dell Diamond Stadium. Still, it resulted in an unfortunate injury for Trey Mitchell, who tore his Achilles and withdrew from the competition.
The “Ultimate Log Medley” was postponed and changed to a max log lift to occur on day two. However, kicking off the last day of competition was the “Rogue-a-Coaster” — a 54-inch, 600-pound seated rope pull with a 90-second time cap. Check out the results below:
2023 Rogue Invitational Strongman Event Three Results — “Rogue-a-Coaster”
[*]Mateusz Kieliszkowski — 29.79 seconds
[*]Tom Stoltman — 34.79 seconds
[*]Evan Singleton — 35.75 seconds
[*]Mitchell Hooper — 38.41 seconds
[*]Oleksii Novikov — 42.05 seconds
[*]Thomas Evans — 44.43 seconds
[*]Maxime Boudreault — 44.49 seconds
[*]Bobby Thompson — 49.29 seconds
[*]Luke Stoltman — CAP + 48
[*]Trey Mitchell — withdrew

Maxime Boudreault opened the event and maintained a smooth pace to a 44.49-second finish — nearly 25 seconds faster than his time from the 2022 Rogue Invitational. Thomas Evans was second to the coaster and progressively slowed during his run but still hit a score that was .06 seconds faster than Boudreault.
Luke Stoltman lost all of his momentum by the top of the coaster and was “perilously close” to closing. He couldn’t convert as his leg drive was lost. The whistle blew at 50 feet. Kieliszkowski was fourth to the coaster, and he blitzed the event with the fastest time ever seen on the implement — 29.79 seconds.

Thompson was a fever dream during his run, obliterating his time from 2022 with a time of just under 50 seconds. Unfortunately, it was the slowest time thus far, aside from Luke Stoltman’s distance, and Thompson walked off the field with a look of disappointment.
Novikov stepped onto the field knowing Kieliszkowski’s time to beat compelled a new world record. He used a technique of extensive pulls for each rep, and though he was nowhere near Kieliszkowski’s time, he did best every non-Kieliszkowski athlete who came before him.
Two-time World’s Strongest Man (WSM) champion Tom Stoltman was next to the field and wanted to alter his lackluster Invitational thus far. He stayed relatively tight to the footboards. He couldn’t quite overtake Kieliszkowski but had plenty of distance between him and the rest of the field.

Singleton paced through the humidity to the coaster in the penultimate spot. His signature intensity was on display through through the entirety of the run, but his time of 35.75 was behind Tom Stoltman’s. Drizzle fell right after Singleton’s run, which could threaten some time for Mitchell Hooper, who closed the event. The 2023 WSM champion attacked the coaster from beginning to end, but conceded some of his lead to the rest of the field.
