2023 Scotland’s Strongest Woman Results — Izzy Tait Wears the Crown

The 2023 Scotland’s Strongest Woman contest took place on July 2, 2023, in Grangemouth, United Kingdom, alongside the 2023 Scotland’s Strongest Man contest won by Louis Jack. Eight strongwomen competed in five events — Duck Walk for Time, Max Deadlift, Log Lift for Reps, HorneTop Hold for Time, and the Atlas Stones — during the single-day competition.
Izzy Tait emerged victorious over her fellow countrywomen, scoring 37 of a possible 40 points. The final standings are below:

Laura Baxter — 32.5 points
Hayley Black — 23 points
Steffi Murray — 20.5 points
Sammy Mayhew — 20.5 points
Anastasia Papas — 17.5 points

Duck Walk for Time
Each strongwoman had 75 seconds to carry the 100-kilogram weight as far down the 60-meter course as possible. Only Beetham completed the course within the time cap.

Izzy Tait — 53 meters
Hayley Black — 45 meters
Sammy Mayhew — 43.35 meters
Rosslyn Cole — 43.3 meters
Anastasia Papas — 39.74 meters
Steffi Murray — 37.5 meters

Max Deadlift
Each athlete attempted to deadlift increasing weight in rounds. The weights were 180, 200, 220, 240, and 250 kilograms.

Steffi Murray — 200 kilograms (T-third)

Atlas Stones
The Atlas Stones were comprised of five implements weighing 70, 85, 100, 115, and 130 kilograms. Each stone had to be loaded onto a four-foot, six-inch platform in the fastest possible time, within 75 seconds.
