The 2023 Toronto Pro Supershow was held on Sunday, June 4, 2023, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It featured 10 IFBB Pro League contests, with the Men’s Open main event won by Iain Valliere.
Valliere is the 11th Men’s Open competitor to qualify for the 2023 Mr. Olympia contest in Orlando, FL, on the weekend of Nov. 2-5, 2023. All 10 champions of this contest qualified for the 2023 Olympia, thanks to their first-place finishes.

Men’s Open Winner — Iain Valliere
Valliere needed to bounce back from his 11th-place finish at the 2022 Mr. Olympia contest and did so in the best way possible with a win in Toronto. This was his sixth pro win, and now has the distinction of having won both the Toronto Pro Supershow and the Vancouver Pro, which he did in 2022.
Hassan Mostafa made his first appearance in 2023 but finished one spot short. He will have to compete again if he wants to return to the Olympia stage. Ross Flanigan came off a win at the 2023 California State Pro with another podium finish.
212 Division Winner — Piotr Borecki
Polish athlete Piotr Borecki took the victory with a perfect score from the judges. He will return to the Olympia stage for the first time since 2021 when he finished out of the top 15. Borecki has also competed in the Men’s Physique division and was sixth at the 1 Bro Pro show earlier this season.
Classic Physique Winner — Samuel Paquin
Paquin is a second-year pro from Canada, and his only contest before this was the 2022 Hurricane Pro, where he finished fourth. This is his first pro victory. The top three in this division were all Canadians. Taking second and third, respectively, were Carl Gauthier and Gregory Dawson.
Men’s Physique Winner — Mehdi Kabbadj
Kabbadj was the defending champion of the Men’s Physique division at this contest and successfully went back-to-back. It’s his second victory overall, and it qualified him for the Olympia for the second straight year. He finished out of the top 15 at the 2022 Olympia. Rodrigue Chesnier of France finished as the runner-up in his first contest appearance of the 2023 season.

Men’s Wheelchair Winner — Mohammadreza Tabriza Nouri
The pro-qualifying contests take place before the pro shows at the Toronto Pro — the amateur winners can make their pro debuts the same weekend.
Mohammadreza Tabriza Nouri did just that. He went from amateur going into the weekend to an Olympia-qualified pro by the end of it, winning the Men’s Wheelchair title within his first 24 hours of turning pro.
Women’s Bodybuilding Winner — Julia Whitesel
Theresa Ivancik finished seventh at the 2022 Ms. Olympia contest, which made her the favorite for this show in the eyes of many. However, Julie Whitesel took the victory with straight first-place votes from the judges.
This was the 2019 Arnold Amateur winner’s first pro win, and Whitesel is now qualified for the 2023 Ms. Olympia contest in Orlando. Ivancik will have to compete in and win another show to join Whitesel on that stage.

Women’s Physique Winner — Emilija Martic
The Women’s Physique division may have been the most competitive on the women’s side of the stage. Emilija Martic defended her home country turf by one point over runner-up Romena Skotzen.
Martic had finished second in her last four contests over the previous two seasons, the most recent of which came at the 2023 St. Louis Pro. This was her first pro victory.
Figure Winner — Lola Montez
Montez was third at the 2022 Figure Olympia, qualifying her for the 2023 edition. Montez was the clear winner in the Toronto lineup that included 17 athletes, the most of any division.
Bikini Division Winner — Eli Fernandez
Eli Fernandez qualified for the Olympia for the sixth straight year after a tough battle with runner-up Adair Libbrecht. The judges gave Fernandez the nod by three points on the scorecards. This is Fernandez’s eighth pro victory in her ninth pro season. She will aim to beat her previous best Olympia finish — 14th in 2022.

Wellness Division Winner — Sandra Colorado Acal
Acal had not finished higher than seventh in a pro show before Toronto. With only six athletes in this contest, she was guaranteed a new best finish but went beyond that with a much-improved physique that the judges rewarded with a win. All six athletes were unanimously scored in their respective ranks.

Wellness Division Winner — Sandra Colorado Acal
Acal had not finished higher than seventh in a pro show before Toronto. With only six athletes in this contest, she was guaranteed a new best finish but went beyond that with a much-improved physique that the judges rewarded with a win. All six athletes were unanimously scored in their respective ranks.

The 2023 Toronto Pro Supershow was held on Sunday, June 4, 2023, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It featured 10 IFBB Pro League contests, with the Men’s Open main event won by Iain Valliere.
Valliere is the 11th Men’s Open competitor to qualify for the 2023 Mr. Olympia contest in Orlando, FL, on the weekend of Nov. 2-5, 2023. All 10 champions of this contest qualified for the 2023 Olympia, thanks to their first-place finishes.

Men’s Open Winner — Iain Valliere
Valliere needed to bounce back from his 11th-place finish at the 2022 Mr. Olympia contest and did so in the best way possible with a win in Toronto. This was his sixth pro win, and now has the distinction of having won both the Toronto Pro Supershow and the Vancouver Pro, which he did in 2022.
Hassan Mostafa made his first appearance in 2023 but finished one spot short. He will have to compete again if he wants to return to the Olympia stage. Ross Flanigan came off a win at the 2023 California State Pro with another podium finish.
212 Division Winner — Piotr Borecki
Polish athlete Piotr Borecki took the victory with a perfect score from the judges. He will return to the Olympia stage for the first time since 2021 when he finished out of the top 15. Borecki has also competed in the Men’s Physique division and was sixth at the 1 Bro Pro show earlier this season.
Classic Physique Winner — Samuel Paquin
Paquin is a second-year pro from Canada, and his only contest before this was the 2022 Hurricane Pro, where he finished fourth. This is his first pro victory. The top three in this division were all Canadians. Taking second and third, respectively, were Carl Gauthier and Gregory Dawson.
Men’s Physique Winner — Mehdi Kabbadj
Kabbadj was the defending champion of the Men’s Physique division at this contest and successfully went back-to-back. It’s his second victory overall, and it qualified him for the Olympia for the second straight year. He finished out of the top 15 at the 2022 Olympia. Rodrigue Chesnier of France finished as the runner-up in his first contest appearance of the 2023 season.

Men’s Wheelchair Winner — Mohammadreza Tabriza Nouri
The pro-qualifying contests take place before the pro shows at the Toronto Pro — the amateur winners can make their pro debuts the same weekend.
Mohammadreza Tabriza Nouri did just that. He went from amateur going into the weekend to an Olympia-qualified pro by the end of it, winning the Men’s Wheelchair title within his first 24 hours of turning pro.
Women’s Bodybuilding Winner — Julia Whitesel
Theresa Ivancik finished seventh at the 2022 Ms. Olympia contest, which made her the favorite for this show in the eyes of many. However, Julie Whitesel took the victory with straight first-place votes from the judges.
This was the 2019 Arnold Amateur winner’s first pro win, and Whitesel is now qualified for the 2023 Ms. Olympia contest in Orlando. Ivancik will have to compete in and win another show to join Whitesel on that stage.

Women’s Physique Winner — Emilija Martic
The Women’s Physique division may have been the most competitive on the women’s side of the stage. Emilija Martic defended her home country turf by one point over runner-up Romena Skotzen.
Martic had finished second in her last four contests over the previous two seasons, the most recent of which came at the 2023 St. Louis Pro. This was her first pro victory.
Figure Winner — Lola Montez
Montez was third at the 2022 Figure Olympia, qualifying her for the 2023 edition. Montez was the clear winner in the Toronto lineup that included 17 athletes, the most of any division.
Bikini Division Winner — Eli Fernandez
Eli Fernandez qualified for the Olympia for the sixth straight year after a tough battle with runner-up Adair Libbrecht. The judges gave Fernandez the nod by three points on the scorecards. This is Fernandez’s eighth pro victory in her ninth pro season. She will aim to beat her previous best Olympia finish — 14th in 2022.
