WTF !!!!!!! So now one of the health care workers who treated the Dallas guy who died from ebola, has contracted the ebola disease themselves! And this worker came into contact with the Dallas guy the 2nd time he came to hospital, and the worker was in full CDC protection wear!!!! That right there is scary as fuck all!

How does someone contract ebola when they're wearing the full CDC protection outfit!?!?!????

and they say that person has come in contact with at least 48 people that they know of so far, and GOD knows how many patients they have treated in the hospital while they had the disease!

Tis shit is going to get bad!

This I don't understand- even the head of the CDC said he has no idea how the nurse got infected UNLESS they were not following protocol and apparently they were...

Makes you wonder if the CDC is covering up the fact that there is many cases out there. Whats the piece of crap Pres of ours gonna do now?

The most amazing thing is that this disease is not airborne spread. You have to make skin to skin contact or contact some of the persons body fluids. So this is difficult to understand how these people can get this when they are wearing those protective suits. This has to be one of the most contagious diseases ever. When the bubonic plague swept through Europe in the 1400"s, it killed about 1/3 of the entire population.

Presser full PPE is a 3 cent plastic gown, gloves and a mask w an eye shield. Not really as effective as you would think with certain things, and it could have got on their back or shoes etc, plus there are a ton of breaks in the chain. When someone comes into the ED they will see either--- Triage or EMS, registration, an ED tech, Diagnostic Imaging and RN before a doctor typically even sees them. Diagnostics may have a student with them, you may also have transport, volunteers (for bs like a blanket or drink) etc. They could also come in contact with a janitor just getting done cleaning their room as they come in, or right after they get in the room they could b changing the bins out real quick.
Yet hospital staff aren't considered hero's lol

oh forgot to mention security may walk past them as they sneeze or cough, as well as other Patients in the waiting room.

ok, let me break this skin to skin contact thing down.

if someone is infectious and they sneeze or cough and droplets fly and land in your eyeball, mouth or you inhale them then you are now infected. Now imagine someone contagious on a full bus or subway and they start coughing and stuff flys everywhere, thing is it can land on your hand or shoe and then an hour later you put your finger in your mouth and now you are infected.

it's actually easier to get infected than they lead on.

and the way they are throwing that nurse under the bus saying protocol was broken, but yet they cant figure out how she was infected WTF can we say trying to cover our ass to the general population

Than it is droplet precautions. The new PPE for it still lets your forehead be exposed, as well as shoes.

yep they are covering it up big time, and now as of this morning at 4 a.m. i seen a breaking news alert and yet another health care worked from the same hospital has tested positive for the ebola virus, WTF!!!!

THIS IS FUCKED UP! And I am not one to jump into hysterical chatter, but this is the fucking EBOLA VIRUS! And yes it can become Airborne 10000% YES IT CAN!

I just listened to a scientist who specializing in Ebola and has been studying it for fucking ever, end said YES IT CAN BECOME AIRBORNE!

Why won't we shut down flights from west africa, how fucking hard can that be!

You know this virus is gonna mutate ,and after everyone dies there gonna come back as zombies! At least that's how all the movies go. I'd start stock piling your apocalypse arsenal now!

presser, just saw the same thing,

this virus is about as contagious as it get, i suppose this was another health care worker not following procedure, how are they gona spin it now.

we need to shut down incoming flights period, and i personally believe they need to set up a faciility in a desert or something and treat all people there so it cannot spread to the general population.

when you say set up a facility in the desert and treat patients there, you really mean bunch them all together and hit them with a flame thrower right lmao, ok that wasn't so funny actually.
