Alright guys I'm 4 weeks out from my first 2 competitions ever. I've learned so much about competing and my body these last 6 months it's crazy. I'll be competing in LHW open in my first comp and LHW open and Jr's 19-23 years old my second comp. Back to back weekends. I would have liked to be more shredded by this point but I'm busting my ass with cardio and just lowered my carbs i'm determined to look like I belong on stage. for me this has been a great learning experience even if I don't do amazing I tried my hardest. Also I just started t3/clen and winny today.

Haha thanks man I really appreciate it. Next prep will be completely different. Plenty of stuff went wrong so far so like I've said this has been a hell of a learning experience.

nice pics brutha, you flexing and holding your poses and practicing that stuff now ??

Man I've been really slacking on my posing to be honest. Going to practice with my buddy later tonight for a half hour. I just get so tired. Would you suggest posing after I eat a meal or on an empty stomach?

I always practiced holding each pose for 45-60 seconds after my am cardio then again at night after free weights and more cardio ! It really does help a lot with form of course and transitioning but mostly the endurance to hold your pose tight on stage from start to finish with a big smile on your face and I would imagine I was trying to literally squeeze water out of my skin while flexing and holding each pose. Takes a lot of endurance to hold fully flexed pose on stage and never let them see you relaxed!

You're looking good! Especially for your age when I'm sure everyone around you is partying and drinking. Good luck!

Presser is 100% right when your sick of posing do it some more. Very important the transitions from pose to pose are just as important as the poses themselves. We have all been to shows and it is so obvious who took some pride in their posing and who didnt.

True, and Not only that, but I have seen guys with lesser builds then the guy next to him on stage win the show because he knew how to pose, and accentuate his strong points, and hide his weak points while the guy right next to him with a better overall physique just didnt know how to pose and winds up losing!

Since were kinda on the topic, one of my Biggest Posing Pet Peeves is when guys dont know how to become an X , and more specifically when theyre doing say a back double bicep pose, or a back Lat spread, and they Put their one Leg straight back, That shit drives me bat shit crazy, its fucking ugly as fuck. Always put the leg out and back, not straight back, as I said , Imagine making your body into an "X"

Anyhow, posing is important! lol,
