I remember getting to work early on 9/11 and I rode in without the radio on, so I hadn't heard anything that was happening. People started trickling in talking about planes and buildings and I didn't pay much attention. Finally someone turned on a TV in the conference room and everyone was glued to it all morning. I've still never seen anything as unbelievable as watching the two towers crumble to the ground.
It was for sure one of the most shocking things I’ve ever seen. The silver lining was that after that The people of this nation came closer together than I’ve ever seen. Patriotism at its highest, flags flying everything, everyone put their differences aside and stood shoulder to shoulder. Now....not so much...
