Ok lads i foolishly shaved my hair line due to it being very hairy and now theres a white patch there lol. I went in the sun today and will do the same tommorow and it will tan over but this is the 2nd time in about 2 years i have shaved the same hairline on my forehead. It looks alot better now but the colour is abit off but it will tan over as i said but im a bit worried it will grow back heaps heaps hairier. Now will it?? the first time i used the clippers and just did a little bit but yesterday i shaved it all with a razor.

Now can i expect a ridiculous amount of hair to grow back and how long?? Or will it only happen to people that continually shave it? And is there anyway to prevent it or delay it??

thank you
Adam

So this is your first post Adam.S ? Welcome to MC Bro !

About shaveing your head if you shave it like I do with a razor all the time the good news is the tan line and white skin will match in no time as they both tan, BUT sometimes it wil get thicker and or darker, I have light hair and I shaved it for years then I let it grow a bit, but it had gotten dark on the sides around my sideburns, light in the back and medium on top. Needless to say I just kept shaveing it.

Thanks brother. You think its worth goin to the doctors cause im still panicing a bit lol. This is the second time in about 2 years i have shaved the same right hairline in between my elbrow and hair itself its just above the elbrow and just below where your normal hair is. Its the bit the extends onto your forehead. Anyways i did shave it with a razor it looks alot better as i said before but its whiter then the rest of my head.

I went in the Sun today for a few hours and i hope that helped. Will go out tommorow aswell and then you reckon it will be right??

Also will it grow back prikly and thicker this time even though this is the first time with a razor and 2nd time all up. First time was a light cut with clippers.

cheers

I see so you just have a kind of widows peak in front your trying to shave up even, being a medical professional I can tell you doctors are not going to be your best option, if you want to remove it long term theirs are a variety of options you can peruse, Electrolysis where they apply a mild shock to the hair follicle it eventually might grow back but it take along time, you could also go with laser removal, that will keep it off for a while and you can get it done at these salons that are popping up all over, check your local newspaper or do a google search for Electrolysis and laser removal and look for one in your city the price has come way down over the last few years.

Theres a new method makeing the hair removal salons called Microlysis its actually Gene Therapy for Hair Removal the good news is its permanent hair removal that is safe, effective and uses no needles.
info can also be found by a google search, I'm going to try this one myself

yea thanks. I will see how it grows back and if its real bad iLL prob get laser surgery. Cheaper then electroylosis.

I shave my head with a strait razor every 3 days and it comes back prickly every time I have noticed it only get a bit thicker then stops only slightly thicker, I dont think youd have to worry about it getting succsessfully thiker each time, I haved my head 20+ years and I dont have thicker and thicker hair, it only got slightly darker and slightly thicker when I grew it out.

One year I decided to see how I looked with long hair before I go bald naturally I grew it out almost 2 feet long and it was a few shades darker and has a couple of curls at the ends then got progressively lighter towards the scalp where it hadednt benn agitated by a razor in a year, I hated it and I was getting far less pussy so I shaved it bald and now I got the cute littile blonds hanging all over me that I like again. I guess some people just arnt ment for long hair.

Heres a list of some I've reserched in the past to loose my unwanted fur :)

Transdermal Electrolysis: One of the easiest procedures to perform currently available. No needles are used making it very safe and popular among "needle phobic" clients.

Waxing and Tweezing: This is a great way to temporarily relieve the embarrassing condition of unwanted hair. Results usually last 2-4 weeks and can be incorporated with more aggressive, as well as permanent, treatment options.

Topical Formulations: The sodium-hydroxide suspension Liquid Electrolysis damages follicle tissues on contact. This is one of the most substantial advancements in the field of epilation cosmetology in many years.

Anti-Androgens: Carefully formulated androgen blocking agents designed to interrupt the hormonal signals which tell hairs to grow.

Short-Wave Probeless: This procedure has been in use for many years, providing excellent results. It is virtually painless, making it perfect for the extra-sensitive areas like the face and bikini line.

Laser Epilation: An exciting new technology which is faster than electrolysis. Laser is also non-invasive, so there is no risk of infection by poor sterilization procedures.

Conventional Electrolysis: Blend or Galvanic, generally considered the most reliable and efficient method of permanently removing unwanted hair.

Microlysis: The newest of all hair removal procedures available with a strong popularity in Europe. Works similar to Transdermal, but incorporates powerful anti-growth liquids to the protocol.
