Hello all,

I am scheduled to have one of my knees replaced on 11/01/18.
I am 56yrs, 6'6", 275lbs, 12%bf, and have been cycling for several years. I cruise with TRT doses and blast with Test P, Tren, and Mast. 1ml each EOD. I run long cycles 12-16 weeks. I used to power lift until my 40s. I do not compete anymore. Just a knuckle dragger trying to stay as strong and healthy as I can.
My question is for the Guru's on MC because you all have given me good advice in the past).

My question: Should I stay on for my surgery? What, if anything, would you recommend I use for healing and recovery? Your advice and recommendations are much appreciated.

Thanks very much,

Big Jim

I need both replaced , so im curious how your recovery goes and i would love to hear your progress throughout the process. I would only stay on my regular TRT dosages, and if i were on any other steroid , i would drop it until after surgery for a while to. Yes, people rave about tb 500 and igf for injury as well. I never used tb but i would for sure. The igf, if u use it i would use throughout.

AAS and surgery was always a no-no. It could cause numerous issues with healing, infection, etc. As Presser mentioned I'd stick to TRT doses only and wait a bit before adding anything. Maybe modifying diet may help you keep your muscle mass up.

I don't believe that if someone has a tolerance that low dose of test with deca or primo is problem even above TRT!!

Yeah steroids suppress cortisol but if we tolerant we will be sufficient.
I used higher than cruise test and Eq, another test and deca another test and primo with hgh!

Not telling anyone to do them or not but I had serveral surgeries and used those roids after each!!!

Let me look for article on hip replacements in those over 55 to 60 yo's..
Body struggles to accommodate tissues to heal in men and woman.. alot of them get another complication from this struggle of body hormone deficit at these ages.
Most people are not or the medical community can't say oh ok u tolerant to steroids let's promote and help process!!

They know in hip replacements in those above these ages steroids help but women viralize and some me can develop high red blood along other issues like prostate among other things is main concern!!

The medical community sees steroids as "reffer madness" did for Pot for alot time.
We never all came out woodwork and said y'all are lieing to us.... we used them long periods of time and high doses that y'all claim will cause organ failure and "Roid Rage"......

I will say that if i were me I would use what I cruise at. My TRT plus, deca at 150mg wk or Eq at 200 wk... or TRT plus primo at 300-400wk.
I also would use IGF and tb500 along with replacement dose of hgh unless u never used hgh before.

Not telling anyone to listen to me but instead what I would do and I believe that higher Testosteone I would avoid low deca or eq yes!! Eq has done alot in horses on their feet all the time!! If i am not mistaken horses make 19-nor form of deca on their own natty, don't quote me! But #1 choice would be Pharma grade test TRT dose Maybe Pharma deca amps but prolly Pharma Rimobolon Bayer Primo!!
With the IGF and tb500!!! This is what I would do. Not persuading anyone just stating my reasons!!! During these surgeries I had I was told i healed remarkable and i used combos I mentioned...
Please don't judge my post or use it to make a decision. I have my reasons and just stated them. Let me find that article...

Thanks for all the good advice!
I had TKR (Total Knee Replacement) of my left knee on 11/01/18. I followed the advice to stay on my TRT dose and I'm glad I didn't do more, only because I have a tendency to push hard and was concerned about overdoing my PT early on, before the cement fully adhered. I'm about 6 weeks post surgery and I feel very good. My ROM is at 123 degrees, can go up & down stairs quickly, and I'm doing body weight walking lunges, BW low box squats, light goblet squats, etc.
One thing though, my leg has atrophied a lot from lack of training and I still fatigue quicker then I used to. Gonna be a while before I get it back.
My Doc told me that I "can" squat heavy after it heals. However, he doesn't think I should. Basically, the heavier I go, the faster the new knee will wear down eventually leading to another TKR. We'll see how that goes because I like to go heavy (for me). Doc considers anything over 225 as heavy. That has been warm-up weight in the past.
Pics are 1 week Post Op. Wound is all healed now. Also, I had a spinal so I was awake during surgery. At my request, they set up a color monitor so I could watch the surgery. It was very interesting! Half precision & half construction! Although, when he was pounding it into the bone, every time he hit it my body would bounce. That shit kinda freaked me out!
Anyway, Thanks again for all the advise. I'm ready to blast again soon. Been too long & I'm chomping at the bit!

Presser,
I'd be happy to answer any further questions I can. It was a big decision knowing that heavy squats & pulls will wear it down faster. But, I'm already basically pain free. Much better than prior to surgery.

Hello All!

So, I’m 7 months post surgery. Knee feels like it’s 25 years old. Wish the rest of my body did!
For those interested, I took the advice given here and went with TRT dose Test Prop & IGF1-LR3 for 30 days. Then bumped Test up to 3 mg per week.
For second month. Healing went extremely well. Doc was impressed.
Month 3 I said fuck it and added back Tren & Mast. What can I say, I’m a Trenaholic!
I like the Megobolic 240 which gives me
Testosterone Acetate 80mg/ml
Trenbolone Acetate 80mg/ml
Drostanolone Propionate 80mg/ml
been using that at 3 ml per week since.
I’m back to squatting light weight for past 2 months. 10 sets of 20 reps at 225lbs. Easing my way back.
Deads feel good if I stay under 500lbs. Anything heavier just doesn’t feel right. Doing a lot of sled and prowler work as well.
Overall, I’m I’m extremely glad I had the surgery! Hadn’t been knee pain free in 20 years. I would wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone who needs it.

Thanks for for all the Pre Op advice! As always, you guys are a wealth of information.
