Anyone test their IGF1 levels?

So supplementing with IGF1 should raise your IGF1 levels on a blood test correct? Just like HGH would?

Has anyone using musclechem igf1 tried checking these levels? Im about to get a female panel done but i think im going to throw igf1 on there also because im curious.

we had this discussion many times in peptide forum, yes guys have had it done, all of which came back with high levels, problem is it tests for attached /bound not free floating igf level or some shit like that, which means unattached, we have a really good write up on it in peptide forum, ill see if i cant bump it for ya, so u can read through it, but long story short, their is no real accurate way to test whether your HGH or IGF is real through a blood panels reading,

as i said before, would love taking credit for the high level readings of the ones who have come before you who have been tested, but i regualr blood test or blood panel wont help much.

ill go bump the thread in peptide forum and post link here on this, and its posted on a few other sites if u google it.

Ok well Below is the reasoning and this was found on another site and our thread on it which I think is even more elaborate than the info below but it's basically the same information, and again we've had a few guys come on here and rave how happy they were that their igf levels on blood test were so high and like I said earlier , I'd love to say "of course it's from our igf " but the blood test isn't an indicator of anything when it comes to whether ur igf-1 lr3 is real or dosed right. Anyhow below is the reasoning and again you can find a great post on it in this forum if you search hard enough ,

you cannot gauge exogenous igf1 levels due to the fact that the blood work only shows bound igf1. The idea behind LR3 is keeping it unbound so it goes systematic. So the test you had was not an indicator if your actual IGF-1 LR3 levels in the blood.

IGF-1 blood tests look only for bound IGF-1 while the purpose of IGF-1 LR3 is to keep it unbound and therefore bioavailable meaning it will not show up on conventional blood tests. It is the same scenario as for blood tests which examine testosterone levels. Many people can have results showing low or normal testosterone levels, but have high ***8220;free testosterone***8221; levels ***8211; which is much more important, since only testosterone which is not bound to SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) can be used by the body.
Therefore your levels of IGF-1 on a blood test are not of much importance and do not take into account the increase from IGF-1 LR3 usage, as they only look at bound IGF-1 (which cannot be used by the body since it***8217;s attached to binding proteins).

and here is the link to an explantion in our peptide forum:

http://www.musclechemistry.com/upload/peptides-questions-and-answers-/67590-igf-1-lr3-bloodwork.html

Allrighty then. Is it different for hgh though because ive heard doctors mention they specifically use igf1 testing as a means of seeing the effect the hgh is having on a patient. I assume it is since u said the whole point of the lr3 is to keep it unbound or something and more bioavailable.

Oh just for the record, i wasnt mentioning getting the test done becausr i was questioning the legitimacy of the product or trying to prove to myself that its real.

I know that its good stuff, if i didnt feel that way i wouldnt keep buying t. just thought it'd be interesting to see if itd do anything on an igf1 panel. Not a big deal though.

i didnt think thats why you were doing brutha,

I actually had igf-1 thrown in a comprehensive blood work panel done by my doc aboutique 2 years ago, before I had run any igf-1. My thinking was to get a baseline before trying it. Interestingly, it came back high, above the "normal" range without ever having used any. I was on a TRT dose of test cyp, but that's it.

I just ran across the paperwork while digging through it looking for something else.

So I guess maybe that could be added to the list of reasons why a blood test doesn't necessarily mean anything when testing for it...

correct, you could have eaten something different and taken the test hours later, or trained hard and heavy versus light and had completely different results in your IGF readings for all those different scenarios , everything is relative when it comes down to this. So great point brutha!

I feel like you kind of contradict yourself with this because you even said your whole point behind getting it done was for a baseline before you start the igf1. Doesn't matter whether your high or low or in he middle its a baseline. The point is the add the product in afterwards and see what the readings are.

Yes, there are a number of things in ones lifestyle that might make small changes in igf1, but those will be negligible compared to what your readings should be after running HGH. I guess I can't coment on the whole unbound verse bound situation as far as igf1-lr3 goes, but I do know doctors will test IGF1 leves to get an idea of how well human growth hormone is working in patients so it is accurate.

Step one. Get IGF1 test for a baseline reading. This includes all the shit your already taking and doing. Step two. Add in HGH. Run it. Step 3. Go get second IGF1 reading and see where you're at.

It's that simple and it's very accurate. You're igf1 won't go up a couple points it will go up hundreds of points.

where did he contradict himself? i didn't see any contradiction, so I'm curious what part your talking about? Cause he got the baseline test done before he even knew it wasn't possible to get accurate reading from exogenous IGF-1 lr3 , so what am i missing daddio?

Oh and even testing igf-1 levels to determine whether your exogenous hgh is legit, is even tough, and would take at least 8 weeks after your base line test. Just so ya know, and again yes elevated igf levels are a good indication of solid HGH, however the absence of evidence is not the Evidence of Absence when it comes to IGF-1 level reading to determine real HGH or not

However i would think most guys would know their hgh is legit or not after a week or two from the associated side effects, like numbing and tingling hands, which is so bad in me it hurts.

He said that the IGF1 test might be flawed because the test cyp altered his igf1 levels. He opens by saying he planned to get baseline readings anyway, but if he got baseline readings it wouldn't matter if the test cyp altered his IGF1 levels because they would still be part of the baseline readings. It's a baseline! Everything your currently running before you start the IGF1-LR3 is included so it doesn't matter that the test cyp or anything else changed these levels because obviously your just looking at the difference between the baseline and what your IGF1 readings are afterwards. Besides anabolics raise igf1, but not to insane levels..

I'd love to see your info showing that it takes 8 weeks for IGF1 to be tested accurately. 2-3 weeks IF that. I'm not sure how you can say the absence of elevated IGF1 levels is not proof of real hgh. I highly doubt ANYONE on this planet taking pharma grade hgh would have no increase over baseline IGF1 readings. Theres a reason why it's done this way in medicine. I don't see why they would do it if it wasn't accurate.

And sorry brother but people know better then to look for sides to validate whether their hgh is real. Not sure how many forums you're on, but there are a network of people out their testing generics every which way possible and believe that there are Chinese adding in certain things to be able to mimic these side effects because they know most people look for sides as confirmation of whether they're hgh is real. I'll start digging into the pit and find the info if you really want, but theres a lot more to hgh and to whether it's actually getting it's job done then just sides like bloating and numb hands. Sometimes its conflicting because of the bullshit but the majority of people I know who run pharma grade have either little to no sides or far less sides then generics. I have a buddy who has like a fleet of aids patients. They'll walk out of the cvs with a macy's bag worth of Saizen so this dudes able to run 10-15 ius a day and he still says he hasn't gotten these numb hands. I've never run that much personally but I never got it either. Not only is looking for validation that way inaccurate but it can get you screwed over.

Just for the record, AGAIN, not trying to discredit IGF1-LR3 and testing. Like I said, I don't know much about how LR3 works and the bound and unbound levels so none of this is regarding IGF1-LR3. Simply discussing hgh and IGF1 testing.

All this being said, i'll probably never go back to hgh because I am very happy with the IGF1-LR3 you sell. One thing I noticed is that my nails are growing at lightning speed. Whether I can test it or not, it's not a big deal to me. I'm running 70mcg's a day and honestly want to bump it up too 100 just for the hell of it.

Oh, and heres a little graph.

dude, I'm still lost on where he contradicted himself lmao, and at this point don't care lol, and I would bet you 10 to 1 i could tell with damn near perfect accuracy if hgh was real or not just by how i adversely respond to it, and no I'm not advocating thats anyway to go around telling if shit is real or not and no i don't go to any other boards aside from the ones i own, however i have no doubt the chinese have found ways to mimic effects in all kinds of drugs lol and probably should not have painted with such a broad brush in my side effect assertion lol,

and you can be on hgh as real as it comes and go get a blood panel back to back days, and have EXTREMELY DIFFERENT NUMBERS.

oh, and No there is near zero reason to use HGH anymore, provided your looking for athletic and bodybuilding type gains, so i agree with ya there,

Okay, maybe I didn't quite use the word contradict correctly. Maybe I should have said, "dude, what you're saying makes no fucking sense". There Presser, does that work for you, because i know you understand what I meant. You're just fucking with me about the use of the word right now.
Basically what he said was, he wanted to get baseline readings done before using IGF1. He got them done and they were elevated from the test cyp. He pretty much said well if test cyp is going to skew readings, blood testing might not be so accurate anyway. That is not accurate. It's like he had the right idea to get the baseline readings, but didn't know what they were for. Yes the readings might be elevated by something but its your baseline reading. Everything you use after the baseline reading (in his case igf1) would be tested and you would be able to distinguish the difference.
Now as you say apparently the lr3 variant fucks testing up somehow. I don't know much about that, but, if it was legit HGH he was using the readings would be sooo much higher then baseline that you would easily be able to distinguish between the two. Normal baseline readings might vary 50 points either way. Adding legit hgh could raise them as high as 500.

And okay you may be able to tell if hgh is real by how you adversely react to it, but not that many people have that problem. What do you mean by this anyway? What kind of symptoms were you having? Were you using an FDA approved brand?

and you can be on hgh as real as it comes and go get a blood panel back to back days, and have EXTREMELY DIFFERENT NUMBERS.

Yah, but if its legit it's still going to be light years above baseline readings. This is a pretty solid indicator of how well it's working. You're rarely ever going to get the same numbers on ANY test you have done.. You have to look at how big the differences are.

oh, and No there is near zero reason to use HGH anymore, provided your looking for athletic and bodybuilding type gains, so i agree wi
th ya there,

I mean no offence to either you or EMW14. I don't mean to come of harsh in anyway. And for anyone reading this, so they're not confused, we're not talking about IGF1-lR3 anymore at this point anyway.

Presser, have you used any of the other igf1 variants?

I was going to respond to the comment about contradicting myself, but I see that's already been addressed. And I see that this has gotten pretty out of hand.

How about this: why don't you go ahead and get baseline and followup igf-1 levels tested and let us know what you get? I never followed up and got the "on igf-1" blood test done, so I can't tell you what the results would have been.

We already covered this. I'm not worried about it because Presser said either way when using the LR3 variant blood testing isn't accurate due to something with unbound verse bound igf1. I know testing igf1 levels from hgh IS reasonably accurate for validation, but unfortunately i'm not running any HGH or I would. That was what we were going back and forth about.Something interesting. I've had scores on an HGH serum test high, yet with no change in IGF1. I've never seen an IGF1 test that was high where the serum didn't change though.
