Avoid the Sad Pecker Disease!!

There are several health conditions that can cause erectile dysfunction, like heart disease, diabetes, metabolic syndrome and alcoholism. Men with a 42-inch waist or larger also experience Sad Pecker Syndrome 50% more often than guys with a 32-inch waist. But sometimes the problem can be caused by a simple vitamin deficiency. Vitamin B-12 helps make DNA and red blood cells.

Your body can't store it for long, so you need to consume it regularly in some form. If you don't get enough B-12, you can experience signs such as fatigue, heart palpitations, various digestion issues, dizziness, depression, vision loss, nervousness, numbness, and tingling in the fingers and toes – a sign of a nerve problem. And a deficiency can also make your wiener stop working. Yep, you can't get it up, or keep it up, during naked frolicking sessions.

A Problem for Vegans: B-12 is only found naturally in animal foods like meat, fish and dairy. So, supplementation is a must for meat-deniers. Or, you know, eat a diet that doesn't leave out a vitamin necessary for life. Some foods are fortified with extra B-12, like breakfast cereals and soy milk, but you probably shouldn't be eating that crap as a grown-up with a penis.

The Best Foods for B-12: You want to get at least 2.4 micrograms (mcg) per day. Seafood reigns supreme, with trout, salmon and tuna scoring high. Clams have a boatload of B-12, but that's probably not a regular part of your die. For land critters, beef is where it's at, but pork and chicken are okay too. Eggs are a good source, and Greek yogurt and Swiss cheese are decent options.

Besides just not eating enough foods that contain B-12, some things can interfere with your body's absorption of the vitamin, like low stomach acid. (Your natural level of stomach acid also diminishes with age.) So, heartburn medications, which reduce stomach acid, may also keep you from absorbing adequate B-12... which could lead to ED... which could be a disappointing end to date night.
