bad liver and kidney function...help!

Alright guys, just had labs done 10wks post cycle of 200mg Test e and 200mg Tren e. I was running a pre, intra, and post wo supplement as well as protein shakes. When results came back my test was high along with my liver and kidney tests being really high. Doc said come. Off EVERYTHING and retest in 4 weeks. My problem with that is I am now 2 pins into a new cycle. So a few questions. Do I stop my current cycle and retest? Do I stay on and drop all the stimulants and test? Or do I skip the test all together? Right now I'm leaning towards dropping everything but gear and adding milk thistle and still taking tests. Any imput, suggestions would be appreciated.

depends on you bro! and how bad the panels were, was it just normal range for being on gear which we all go through or was it life threatening numbers

Idk for sure I'm getting results myself today and I'll b sure to post numbers. She made them sound real high. Thanks for replying tho!

The Ast,Alt are high. These are measured by the liver cells which die and give off these two chemicals. It simply means your liver cells are dying at a faster pace than normal. The Liver is in constant regeneration. Personally I really like my Liver and I would stop everything and then take the test or go find a DR that is steroid friendly and work with him. Have you been drinking alcohol at all or taking tylenol these also can raise Ast, Alt levels. Your levels are not ridicuously high though. My kidneys always test high when I take creatine ,once off they return to normal. Forget about the milk thistle its a waste of money

Thanks, I do drink on occasion maybe once a week. And I am currently on creatine as well. I know its bad but my last labs were about a year ago and I was on cycle and they were fine. All the oral stimulants are fairly new in my diet, that's why I questioned those. And I understand where your coming from about dropping the gear too I didn't know if coming off would make it worse or not. Of course I'd rather stay on but if its best I come off I'll do so.

Good thread, more of us should be on top of our blood work and make adjustments accordingly. I've neglected this aspect of BBing W/AAS for too long. Add recs and booz to the mix and I'm a freaking mess. I'm getting some damn liv 52 and milk thistle and throwing out the booze.

I agree - some of your numbers are a little high but not outrageously so.
I have the same problem as you- my doc is ignorant about AS or supplements like creatine completely - so if I know I have blood work coming up- I had it today, I stop my usage beforehand a few weeks until after the labs are done. I hate doing it but they spazz out when the results are exactly in the range that it says on the paper. I find that orals invert my numbers greatly, so I make sure to be careful to stop those soon as well. I have to have a biopsy done every six months as well so I have to take that into consideration as well.

Myogenix has a good Liver product called LIVER FIX, it was designed for prohormones when they had their product Spawn on the market but it works really well, helps with rejuvenation, daily function, and detoxification. Aside from Milk Thistle it has a lot of other herbs, antioxidants and amino acids.

These elevations are slight and are in the ranges frequently seen while on gear. BUT with that said, they should be considered and "early warning" and NOT ignored. Smartest move is to dump the gear for now and see if you normalize. Avoid alcohol and any other potential liver toxins while waiting to be retested. ALSO, remember that just because you're on gear doesn't mean you couldn't develop other causes for elevated liver tests. So if you fail to normalize on retesting you may need to be evaluated for other causes. Meaning, it might not have been the gear.

Great that you got monitored and good luck!
