For one 200lb guy:
- 10 oz of ground sirloin or chuck, or any cut, in a matter of fact;
- 2 egg whites, or if fat is not a concern, 1 whole egg;
- 1tsp of Dijon, or any kind of mustard;
- touch of Adobo seasoning, but if you don't have it, f**k it;
- touch of garlic and onion powders, but if you don't have it, do the same as with Adobo;
- salt and pepper;
Mix all the ingredients together, forming a patty. It's going to be a little moist first, but keep mixing, until you can shape it.
Heat 1/2 tsp of veg oil in non-stick pan, until smoking, add patty, and after 30 sec. lower heat to low-medium. Cook for 3 min, then flip it. Nice crust should be formed on the side. Cook on another side for 5 more min, turn the heat off.
If you like it, slice raw onion very thin, and put on a bun, top with sliced tomato and if you have it, some lettuce.
Tasty addition would be to put a little mayo on one side of the bun and a little ketchup on another, also slice of cheese you like. But, if your diet is strict, f**k the temptation and don't put Jack sh*t.
Sandwich cooked beef between buns, and eat.
Personally, when bulking, I use at least 16oz, sometimes even more, so be creative, feel free to experiment with different sizes.
