So i just did biceps and thiceps in the same day. I started with my biceps, as i figured it would be much easier to pull the blood down to my quads(thiceps) after working my bis

I have to tell you guys, im an old school routine kind of guy, train proper parts together consistantly but for whatever reason after doing my biceps yesterday, i decided i wanted to try out the new leg machine and the angle it had on it for quads, well i dont know if its cause i never trained these two bodyparts together or what, but what fuck, it was the best pump and greatest soreness i have experienced in ages!

yes if someone said im doing bi's and thighs i would say wtf is wrong with you lol, but man, what a great workout i got!

im currently splitting up my legs into quads one day and hams another day, so i figured i would work them in to anothr body part and well looks like im gonna be doing biceps and thiceps together for a few weeks.
 
Shit man, I'll give it a shot. Did you completely finish biceps and then do Hams or did you go back and forth? What machines, sets, reps?? Spill it man. There isn't much out there that looks more impressive from the side than mega beefcake hams... I've been doing them twice a week for a while. People don't take them as seriously as they should.
 
thiceps were my quads, not my actual hamies , im splitting those up, but it sounded better for the sake of ryhming with biceps lol,

anyhow, yeah i killed and i mean destroyed my biceps, with preacher curls, 4 sets til failure, then single arm curls 4 til failure, then i did between the leg arnold curls i guess you call them lol, and then went back and finished up 2 sets light on machine preachers til failure

then i hit my quads which im caling thiceps, even though i guess technically thiceps should be considered hamstrings, lmao, but setting aside semantics lol, i then went a did this new machine for quads where the seat was super angled, which i use to hate when it pulled my knees apart but this one did not, and i blasted my quads with 6 sets all til failure, and i exploded up and then held at the top, then slow as balls coming down! i actually prolly looked retarded how slow i was coming back down but its the best quad work out i have had in years man, no bs,

and yes thats all i did for my quads! lol, but i couldnt even walk so it didnt matter!

long story short, im so sore it feels good to hurt like this, you know the feeling!
 
Sometimes you gotta go outside the box, even if it sounds a lil unorthodox. Gotta make those gains by any means necessary [emoji106][emoji123]
 
I tried supersetting quads with bicepts a couple of times. It's a bitch of a workout. I got gassed pretty quick.

you mean supersetting as in gone back and forth between biceps and quads? thats what i call super setting but i know some guys differ which is why i ask, and if thats the case i dont think i would ever super set quads and biceps, i think you have to do biceps workout first then hit quads.

in any case i wasnt sure what you meant by super setting, for me super setting means, if im super setting biceps and triceps, i will do a set of dumbell curls then a set of tricep pushdowns, then my 2nd set of curls, then my 2nd set of push downs, so on and so forth.
 
I'll never understand the methodology behind splits like that

lastly, its always good to change shit up once in a while, even strange opposing and even conflicting body parts!
