Blood work 3 months on trt

God morning.
i've been on trt right at 3 months. It's time for follow up labs. Doctor want them done 3 days after last injection of testosterone. I would like to keep the script for 200 mg a week, not lower. Is this the best day to have the lab work done to keep it at 200 , or is there a better day. I realize that no one knows exactly what my scores would be, just want to play the odds. Thank you for your help.

If you're taking weekly injections (as opposed to 2x per week), then 3 to 4 days after your injection should be showing the peak level for the week. It's impossible to guess what that level might be as everyone's body processes test at a little different rate. For instance, when I take 140 a week (and I split it into 2 doses taken Tues/Fri), I end up right around 850ng/dl 4 days post injection (I get my blood drawn in the morning before I take my 2nd shot for the week). Another guy on here does 100/week (split 50/50) and ends up at 1000 ng/dl. If you are doing 1x per week injections and wait until 7 days after, your level will be lower, if that's what you're asking.

If it's your first time on TRT, then whatever level it is may likely be on the high side, even if your frequency is 200mg every two weeks. I've been on TRT for 17.5 years, and I've found that my body processes test much faster now than it did when I first started out. Earlier if I didn't let my body take time to go through it, I would always test way over the upper limit, and even though it's a peak measurement 2-3 days after the shot, my doc at the time would always freak out and lower the dosage. Most docs are going to be like that. Only after going through many docs for this did I finally find one that understood the timing of peak and trough levels. Since likely you may have a high level and your doc will freak out, I'd even wait on the shot before the blood test to make sure your levels do come down enough.

Using this protocol your doctor will lower your script. I would get bloodwork done 7-10 days after your last injection.

My Dr put me on 200 every two weeks. I went back he said bump it up to 250. After that I told him I was taking it every week cause I would forget so I take half and half.
I used to not take it for 7-10 days when he told me to go up. Now I take 50 twice a week because I got higher level on a test because I had forgotten and took it.
He basically told me I have done it long enough that I can adjust one side or another a little as long as I am in range
That some guys feel better in middle and some in upper.
When I think about it I screwed myself because he asks what I am taking how much and if it's in normal range he asks if I wanna go up that there is room or there isn't.
I should of gave it more time between and always say I am taking a little more. I screwed myself out of more pharmacy testosterone cypionate. But everytime I am in there I feel guilty of what I do so I guess I try to be innocent! Lol!!

I am always 4 to 5 weeks of long esters testosterone clearing so my 850-1000 range may be from ester still not clear from previous test on top of 50 week.

Emw I came in at 868 this time around. Labs drawn Tuesday last pin Friday night. Took due pin on Tuesday night after draw that morning. So I was lower this time.

Bloat is gone, thanks. It's strange, while I had bloat I felt like I was always pumped, Always!!! Now I feel a bit like I did before trt. Just seems like it's gone, The only thing I did different was donate blood.

My hemo gets high. I get extremely vascular when it is high, but it is also hard for heart to pump blood.
I have once gotten some water retention in my feet and joints because thick blood pushed fluids out of veins vessels arteries whichever. It was extremely painful.
Dpile keep up with keeping red blood cells managed. I am due right now and haven't gone since Monday I should of went. I gonna go with my order a few times at 3 weeks Then again at 3 until I get my # hemoglobin down to 14-15 before I start a little blast then still keep them down.
