Giannis Magos freaked out at the 2016 IFBB Diamond Cup in Athens, Greece, over the weekend after he won his 100-kilogram division, but failed to win the overall title, according to Yahoo Australia.
Magos was caught on video jawing at judge Armando Marquez before slapping him across the face.
In another video of the incident, taken after Magos hit Marquez, the bodybuilder is seen stalking around the knocked-over judges’ tables while ranting about the results of the competition.
“Yesterday I’m winner! Yesterday I winner!” Margos yells as the crowd looks on. “And today I get beat, how?!?
“I don’t understand … f–k off!”
Though the results of this year’s competition were bad for Magos, part of his anger might have been fueled by the fact that this was the third time he had come in second place overall at the annual event, according to EvolutionOfBodyBuilding.net.
The eventual winner of the competition was Christos Pistolas of Greece, who posed next to Magos in the final comparisons Sunday.
Magos is facing a lifetime suspension for his “disrespectful and aggressive behavior,” according to a post on the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness’s official Facebook page.
