Very sad to read news like this.
The devastated 30-year-old paid tribute to the former Mr Scotland on the same day they should have been celebrating their marriage , the Daily Record reports.
Elaine, from Bishopton, Renfrewshire, said: “Davie was literally the most amazing person I have ever known.
“He’s my best friend, love of my life and soulmate. Don’t know what I’m going to do without him.
“Today I was going to be his wife. This will always be the case in my heart. I’m completely broken.”

It is unclear how he ended up on the tracks and a police investigation is being carried out.
Stunned friends of the couple – many of whom would have been preparing to celebrate their wedding with them – posted messages of support on social media yesterday.
