Check this out! New to me gym equip

Just got this for Christmas. Been looking for exactly this machine for quite a while. We have very limited space, so a convertible machine was a rigid requirement, but most of those are at best of the "light commercial" variety and not very sturdy.

I pretty much stumbled on this Legend leg extension/ leg curl and got a smokin deal on it. This is the last major piece of strength training equipment I wanted to get.

This will be quite a welcome addition to my leg workouts; my knees always feel much better when I consistently do leg extensions.

Something I got years ago was a Marcy smithmachine and free weights with barbell with seated cable and two uppers cables. I got mine at Sam's for $800 ten years ago. Changed one cable it also has pec deck.

In my shop I have a body masters multi gym with seated leg press. Standing leg curl, leg extension, adjustable shoulder and chest press, lat pull, lat row. It's still on my trailer have to set up. It was given to me by my old company owner. Lol! I hit gym most of the time but have to set up body masters deal. I may sell it.
I like your set up though!!!

Body masters is Comercial. The one I have goes for 15 to 20 grand used but restored. It only needs a little paint and buffing surface rust. Don't know what it cost to ship but I may wanna get rid of it for cheap.

Damn that is REALLY nice! I will have a nice home gym in my home in TN. I will need some sort of hack squat or leg press since I can't squat or do lunges. Something like that hip sled thing. I can't seem to remember the name of the piece of equipment I want. It's a multi station unit that is very hammer strength like.

We have 3 select pieces of equipment: a lat pulldown with 300 lb stack; a 45° plate loaded leg press; and now this lrg extension/leg curl. Of course, we have an adjustable bench also that does flat, incline and decline. Dumbbells fro 5 to 90; a half ton of Olympic plates; and various bars. We dropped our gym memberships over a year ago and haven't looked back. We live in a pretty rural area; there are numerous gyms around, but the closest is 15 miles away and none are all that great.

We have everything we meed (and everything we have room for). I just gotta finish the space, now. I have drywall up, but the taping is unfinished, needs doors, trim, etc.

I don't know if it's just my area (my sources for gym equip is about 65 miles away), but there are a couple of guys who buy and sell used gym equipment and ALWAYS have something. Used commercial gym equipment seems to be very plentiful! If you look hard enough and long enough, you'll find what you want!

I like to workout at home too. I need to get body masters multi set up. Wanna build closed room in shop. It's a really big shop. I need to frame and anchor in existing slab put ceiling insulation and walls with ac. Can move garage set up in there too. I been going to gym cause it's close to work. Also have a heavy bag with stand that is good for cardio and two types of ellipticals. Wife wants it set up to use.

I have full set up too. I live in rural area closest gym around 15 miles as well but one local owned one about 7.
I been using a chain gym last 3 years most of time. I use 3-4 different ones depending on if I am out on a service call for work. I have kids old one with kid (grandchild), a teenager, a 9 year old, and 3 year old son. All at home except oldest but we have grandchild alot. It's hard for me to workout with them. I get too many interruption and have to stop often or do something between sets. Too many distractions so that's my reason for gym. If I can fix set up with workout "Room" safer for my son to come in with me and play on clean floor instead of garage I would use home all the time.

I believe Body Masters either merged or is out of business. I have a BM cable crossover and have been looking possibly for a not so important part for it, do you have a vendor that you use that may still stock parts? thanks

I will look into it for u. I am a mechanic and often modify parts or make them myself. I will check for after market dealer. I actually live right by there plant and my gym knows merger it's knight I think. Knight oil tools with find out what they making the merger name

Hey Survivor did u look online? fitnessplus and lots of other places have replacement parts.
