Been stuck at a plateau for a while so I figured id hit some negatives this morning, used a 4'' platform. Form isnt perfect, still need to focus on looking forward instead of down.

Thanks guys. I pull the belt tight as I can, gonna have to get a buddy to help me get it a notch or two tighter. Hopefully the using the platform will help me get past this plateau.

Wow, I didn't realize those little "platforms" could hold that kind of weight. That's got to be close to 700 pounds on there, right?

lol, i weigh in at 211, plus the 455 so yea, close to it. As long as you are centered with the weight spread out on em they are pretty sturdy, i tried to do some smith machine calf raises(with my feet together) one time with 360+the bar and it wasnt strong enough for that much weight in that small of an area. I wish they had a little taller platform so I could pull the weight from right off the top of my feet.

That deficit pulling will definitely help you out on breaking through a plateau bro. As far as tightening the belt, here's a tip. Put the belt through the roller as if you're going to secure it, but don't, go to a pole or the side of a power rack and put the belt on the side of the rack and hold it there with your hand and if the roller part is on the left side you want to turn to that side and it'll tighten that belt as tight as it'll get then just latch it there. You'll need to do the same thing to get it off as it'll be too tight to get off by yourself, but with the aid of the rack you'll be fine. And those belts are good, but if you're getting into some seriously weight, look into a belt from Inzer or Cardillo. They are both top notch and the Inzer lever belt is a great belt to go with, but if you like the roller belts and want a custom one or even just a simple stock one, cardillo is the way to go
