So I have some gear that came to me crystallized. How do I fix this? Give it a bath in some hot water?

yes that should work, but if it arrived already crystalized then it will continue to be an issue until you get it heated to its melting point temperature, whatever that might be for that compound your talking about, as ya didnt say. Another words it will keep crystalizing and need to be heated over and over each time, which isn’t a big deal if its not that bad, but if it looks like a steroid slushy then your going to wanna look up the melting point and do it right once and be done with it.

Looks like melting point of test cyp is 98-102c which means some boiling water should be just about right? Do I need to have some needles in the top when I heat it up so it can breathe or no?

No. You don't have to vent it. Slowly heat it and shake it. Once it's in solution.. make sure to let it cool back down to room temp before withdrawing. Hot oil expands and will throw your measurements off. If you heat your oil prior to pinning make sure you do it while in the barrel after withdrawing from room temperature vials.

I always vented it with pin in top but not sure if it's needed or not, so I'll take tone on his word

If you don't torch it to hell then you don't need to vent. Worst case that would happen if you forgot a vial on a stove top is the top will pop off from pressure. If they are well made vials then it will make the area where you insert the needle "bubble up" and should return to normal once it cools!

If it crystallized in room temperature something is wrong. Either not enough BB or the quality of the powder is poor. I've received poor quality cyp many years ago and the only way to keep in solution was to add more BB. Now if it's crystallizing in a cold weather environment that's completely normal.

I don't think quality is the is the issue. I think it's age.
I had 2 vials of pharma test crash on me in mid use...both with 2014 exp. Dates.

never seen actual Pharma grade gear crash, and I always had expired Pharma grade, as they had to toss it out when expiration hit and thats how I got it, many many moons ago lmao

I got them from a very reputable sponsor of this board. These are the only 2 vials I have gotten in 2+ yrs that were crystallized. So I don’t think quality is the issue, and the vials are not expired either so not sure why they came this way. Maybe how they were being stored prior to being shipped to me?

No kidding, I have actually had euro-chem crash on me many years back, and can’t remember for sure, but I think it was propionate, in any case, it was good and I heated it every single time I needed to use it, but felt like good propionate to me!


Appreciate the info though brutha, although you never too much negative publicity surrounding that brand of gear

At least when it crashes it is totally fixable and you know you have real gear!
