Winner — Dahye Jeon
Jeon made her professional debut at this contest. She earned her pro status at the 2023 NPC Worldwide Amateur Olympia Korea event in May.
Jeon went from amateur to Olympia-level pro in less than three months. The pre-judging round was the only round scored in this contest, and Jeon won with a perfect score.
Jeon is the fourth South Korean competitor to qualify for the 2023 Bikini Olympia in Orlando, FL, on Nov. 2-5, 2023, joining Jibin Park, Hyo Jung Kim, and Areum Song.
Second Place — Sara Choi
This was Choi’s fourth show of 2023 and her third second-place finish. She also took the silver medal position at the 2023 Musclecontest Japan Pro and the 2023 District of Taiwan Pro.
Choi appeared to take the finish in stride. However, with the Olympia quickly approaching, Choi needs to win a show so she can focus on Olympia prep. It’s unknown if or when she will compete again in 2023 as of this writing.
Third Place — Xinyi Chen
Chen was the highest-placing finisher from outside the host country. The judges placed her in third unanimously. She hoped to be the first Chinese athlete to qualify for this year’s Bikini Olympia. If she competes in another show, she could well be in contention for a win.
Other Notes
There were three other Bikini division contests on the schedule for Saturday, July 15, 2023. Those contests are at the 2023 Vancouver Pro in Abbotsford, BC, Canada, the 2023 Lenda Murray Atlanta Pro in Atlanta, GA, and the 2023 Governors Cup in Sacramento, CA.
