Winner — Daniel Ammons
This was Ammons’ second show in as many weeks. He placed fourth in the 2023 New York Pro, won by Ryan Terry. Ammons rebounded well in South Carolina and took his sixth career pro win.
The 2023 Olympia will be Ammons’ fourth Olympia appearance. He last competed in the Olympia in 2021, placing outside the top 15. Ammons is free to keep competing but can focus entirely on his prep for the Olympia.
Second Place — Drew Cullen
This was Cullen’s 2023 season debut. He’s competed in 10 shows since his rookie season in 2020, and this is his highest placing so far.

To compete at the 2023 Olympia, Cullen needs to enter and win a pro show, as only pro winners qualify for the 2023 Olympia. Cullen has yet to debut at the Olympia as a competitor.
Third Place — Chris Barr
Barr has competed three times so far in 2023. Hishis most recent show was the 2023 Pittsburgh Pro, where he placed sixth overall. He was third in the 2023 Charlotte Pro as well.
Barr is in his second season as a pro and showed a lot of potential for future success. The North Carolina native was a clear top-three finisher in the eyes of the judges. As a contender in his three recent shows, he might want to keep riding the momentum into another show after making any necessary adjustments
Other Notes
The next shows that Cullen, Barr, or other competitors are eligible to enter are the 2023 Musclecontest Bahia Muscle Show in Salvador Bahia, Brazil, and the Miami Beach Muscle Pro-Am in Miami, FL, on Saturday, June 3. The Toronto Pro, scheduled for Sunday, June 4, 2023, will also feature a Men’s Physique show.
