Do you think Jay will retire

Do you think jay will call it quits after this or try to make a comeback next year. I just dont see him catching Phil Heath.

Jay is 38. I think he will realize that he is too old to put on the extra muscle required to surpass Phil Heath. And, I don't mean 38 is all that old, but he's been going for a long time, so he is a well-worn 38 years old.

I agree. He has his millions in the bank and 4 sandows, nothing left to prove.

I saw an interview with him about a year ago on youtube...he was talking about retirement because he was just getting burnt out on it-he's been doing it for most of his life and has made so many sacrifices, so who can blame him

I would like to see him compete at least one more time so he's not know for the bicep incident-I don't think anyone is really buying the whole torn bicep thing considering that 3 days before the Olympia none of his pics showed a bad bicep

I think he's going to try to get the 5th Sandow next year and if he loses it again then I think he'll be done. I know there's nothing left to prove, but 5 Sandows just has a better ring to it than 4

doing this for so many years, it has to be in his blood to try to get it back

but jay is a smart man, he should call it quits

This would provide great motivation for next year, but I hope he lets us know pretty soon.

Jay has made history for himself already, yea a fifth does sound good but at this point jay will look great during his dieting stage but as the day of the show his body fades too fast. No matter what Jay could try to come in better next year but Heath will come in even better. I am sure that Jay is plenty of happy to lose to his friend but for example if it would of been kai, dexter, branch, or martinez I 'm sure Jay would of came back balls to the wall wanting his title back. As for retirement I think its defintely a possiblity but the real question is when will he retire. I know everyone expected him to announce it at olympia but he didnt. So Jay is unpredictable he may have something under his sleeve.

But we all know to these guys its not just about how much money is in the bank and how many trophys are on the shelf.

Its about being the best, and proving that. I think he'll give it another go .. but that lust for being #1 ... he'll never lose that
