Epicatechin is a flavinol found in dark chocolate, blackberries, apples and Ginger. Epichatechin increases Nitric Oxide by preventing its breakdown which can increase the capacity for muscles to grow. Epicatechin may also inhibit myostatin, which we know can reduce muscle growth. This means that if you block myostatin, you have the potential to grow more muscle.
