This is a bit off topic but really pissed me off this weekend. I live out in the country on 10 acres and had these two dogs (brother and sister presumably) show up at my house about 8 months ago. I already have two dogs, but these dogs seamed to keep the deer and rabbits a bit regulated, so I decided to keep them around. They are about 40 lb dogs, not very big, and they were staying outside so it wasn't a big deal. Plus they were very sweet and the kids love them.
So I wake up Saturday morning to the kids anxiously waiting to go outside to play in the snow. I started to make breakfast, while they went out in played. One of the kids came in side and said, "the girl dog is bleedind and breathing really heavy, she's going to die!" I figured a coyote got here and she was just really scared. I got dressed and went outside to see what was going on, I went over to a big blueberry bush where she was laying in and checked her over. As I turned her to one side, I seen where someone shot this poor dog. I was completely irate. I took her inside, cleaned her up, and got her to the vet. Everything turned out good and she is doing just fine. I can't believe someone could shoot such a sweet, and harmless animal.
As far as the male dog (her brother), we have yet to find him. The poor thing probably got shot and never made it back home. I can't believe that someone could do this to a harmless animal as such. There's some fuck up peopling this world.
