Athletic footwear and apparel brand NOBULL has been the title sponsor of the CrossFit Games since 2021. The brand also sponsors several of the biggest names in CrossFit, particularly on the women’s side — rising star Mal O’Brien and six-time Fittest Woman on Earth® Tia-Clair Toomey, for example. Now, three-time CrossFit Games athlete Willy Georges is officially a NOBULL athlete.
Georges is arguably the second highest-profile male athlete to be sponsored by NOBULL, which also sponsors two-time Fittest Man on Earth® Justin Medeiros. The company announced the sponsorship with an Instagram post on Oct. 18, 2022. You can check it out here:

Willy Georges’ CrossFit Career
Georges broke onto the CrossFit scene in 2018, taking ninth place in his rookie season at the Games. He followed this impressive performance with a 21st place in 2019, but suffered a near career-ending shoulder injury that kept him away from competing until 2022.
This fan favorite has shown incredible resilience, and explained some of his drive in NOBULL’s sponsorship announcement post.
As an athlete, it is not mandatory to succeed, but it is an obligation to prepare yourself as best as possible to do so.
Georges battled his way back to the competition floor and took a 17th place finish at this year’s Games.
NOBULL sponsors some of the most elite women in CrossFit, with Toomey, O’Brien, Brooke Wells, and Emma Lawson finishing in the top six at the 2022 Games. Seventy-five percent of the CrossFit athletes listed on NOBULL’s website are women (11 out of 15), with Katrín Davídsdóttir, Kristi Eramo O’Connell, and Steph Chung being a few other legendary vets on their roster.
Willy Georges is the five-time fittest man in France, making inroads into the international market for NOBULL. The company has mainly sponsored American CrossFitters so far (with big names like Toomey, Davídsdóttir, and Lawson being the exceptions).
This announcement makes Georges the highest-ranking Individual male athlete besides Medeiros. Some of CrossFit’s most elite male competitors have recently joined TYR Sport, who made a big splash venturing into the CrossFit market in 2022. Pat Vellner, Guilherme Malheiros, Noah Olsen, Travis Mayer, Will Moorad, Saxon Panchik, and Lazar ?uki? are all now under the TYR Sport banner.
Georges won’t be competing at the upcoming Rogue Invitational, but fans are likely hoping his plans include making a fourth trip to the NOBULL CrossFit Games in 2023.
