For quads keep your feet lower on the
Platform. To target your glutes place
Your feet higher on ther platform.

My feet definately need to be higher!

ever since i switched my foot position with leg presses to alittle lower i can see the fullness coming out in my quads in opposed to my hams and glutes
 
I dont know Leather mine do too a little. try not going quite so deep and heavier instead. Im with Jon here on quad day i literally only have my toes and maybe another inch of my foot on the platform at all tears up my quads, cant do as much weight but it definitely works great.

Thanks, bro, I'll give that a shot. Maybe drop the weight, like you said. CH3NO2 likes doing them with 900+lbs... maybe I'll have to keep it lower.
 
Depending on the type of leg day I'm having (quad focus; ham/glute focus; high volume; high weight, etc), I mix it up and do them with my feet in different positions: high, low, close together, shoulder width apart, more than shoulder width apart, to target different parts of the leg.

I do this with squats too depending on if I want to target the quads or different parts of the glutes more.
