Getting tooth extracted, can I train?

I will likely lose a few pounds in the days that follow which can be re-gained, but can I train? Last time I had teeth pulled was when I was a senior in HS, all 4 wisdom ones, that were impacted and damn it hurt like a muther. This time its the very back upper one, left side, theres been a cavity trying to form for like 25 yrs and its finally giving me issues

So how bad will it hurt? most are telling me just a short time which I expect

I think it will bleed if you lift right away. I’d wait a couple days

It will definitely bleed and you’ll run a chance of getting dry socket. Need to let it clot of for 3 days.

I had 5 wisdom teeth pulled and only one was impacted a few years ago. Man, that wasn’t fun. Eating yogurt for 4 days....ugh. Sorry brother but don’t push and blow the clot out. That’s exposed nerves then and will hurt like nothing else

it won't be as bad a getting wisdom teeth pulled, especially since it's one tooth. you will need that clot to stay of course, so yeah heavy lifting will be out for a week at least. even with a clot you could still get a dry socket. they have medicines for that now, but back in the day, you'd just go back to the dentist and he'd stick a sharp instrument in there and swish it around. i know wtf, lol. don't use any straws or have drinks that use them. if the doc gives you a script for pain, get it even if you think you can handle it.

I went back to the gym 3 days after getting mine done, and I was back in the dentist the next day because I was bleeding like a stuck pig, and I caused a "pass-thru" from my mouth into my sinus cavity. DON'T hurry back to the gym. They basically had to cut my gums and try to fold them up and sew them shut again because I pushed too hard.

From the looks of it I may as well wait a few wks for my scheduled lay off and get it done then, I hate to take unexpected multiple days off

went for consultation, I thought it was very back molar, but its the one before, now surgeon says I shouldnt have a stand alone tooth as no support due to my paradonial thing, so I get 2 extractions, numbers 14 & 15

Get the Jack Daniels out, Presser grab yr vice grips and lets get these muthers out!

My only advice is to get off testosterone if you're taking it. A lot of people (including myself) have issues with the body not being able clot. Don't get me wrong you'll still clot, but it will just take a little longer. This is listed a potential side effect on every bottle of test sold in the US.

I appreciate the advice, I always thought that the knock against test was it caused blood clots but I think yr post meant clotting in a different context Bro. Gonna suck taking a few days off lifting :(
