Sockeye is the best and a simple butterfly fillet bbq'd is the best. Chinook is not as good but best steaked. Coho is a little drier, not as good in my opinion, maybe add a little olive oil and/or fish sauce. Chum and Pink are the least desired and are best smoked. Better for crab or hali bait, once again, my opinion. Farmed Atlantic salmon... I have no experience with these.
