For the guys who are on this, what were your levels when you got it? I know the "normal" levels are 300-1200 or somewhere around there depending on what doctors you go to, but I've seen guys get it with levels in the low 300s. I'm thinking of trying to get put on this, but wanted to see where I'd have to be. I'm not so much worried about needing it, but having the piece of mind of having the script.

i was 272, now on TRT im at low 700's on the day before my shot. but a short while later I split my shot in half for 2 times a week to keep me more leveled. Then after about 6 months on TRT I started blasting and crusing ;)

The first test result I had was 310, and that was at 30 years old. The normal testosterone level for a 30-year-old should be more like 800-900 so yes, I was put on.

Really? I'm 26 mine was 483 My doctor said I was fine, my buddy's was 375 (same age) neither of us go scripts.

47 here, my test level was 243 first blood test and 293 on my second. Been on test replacement (cyp injections) for the past 8 weeks. I am beginning to bulk up, better libido, but the water weight is killing me.
Recently joined forum to check out all the great information here and see about getting some tips.
This forum has a wealth of information so I'll continue searching for the answers I'm looking for and post if I need a hand.
Thanks!

You might need an anti estro. Didn't your doc give you something? How many mgs a week have you been using? You can buy some fairly cheap here. Shipping is free. Or pick some up at your next appointment. Then again cypionate has a slight tendency for water bloat. Aquadex is a good choice.

I'm only on 200mg every 5 - 7 days. I have read a lot about the anti estrogen meds but haven't picked any up yet. (some say it's OK to use while on your cycle, but others say to wait until after.) I didn't have this problem on Deca.
I still have a few weeks left on my cycle, and have an appointment to get my levels tested again in 2 weeks, so I was going to mention it then.
That said, I did notice the great prices here so I'll definitely check that out. Thank you!

Well heres the catch 22 with mentioning the water bloat issue to your Doctor, rather then prescribe you something to combat the water weight, like an anti-estrogen, he might just lower your dose, and you don't want that brutha! lol

In any case thats just my thoughts and concerns with mentioning it to your dr, but maybe he is cool like that and you can ask him without him changing your script to a lower dose!

And we have everything you need to combat water weight, via estrogen or progesterone at our store here --->>>>Advanced Supplements

Thanks for the heads up Presser!
I've got a very cool Dr. He's super easy to talk to and will pretty much give me whatever I ask him for, as long as I'm not an idiot about it and I go in having done my "homework" first.
I was going to look at my insurance plan today to see if it covers some of the main ones
Nolvadex, Arimidex, Tamoxifen & maybe some Clomid while I'm looking. Like most insurance companies (especially now) it's a crap shoot, so we'll see.
My Insurance currently covers my cypionate 100%.... at least until July when my plan renews and I'll have to fork out my annual deductible.

Thanks again for all your help. There's so much great information on this site, I've been learning a lot.

Totally depends on who you go to. My PCP completely blew me off, told me I was normal at 440 ng/dL. 9 months later got checked at a TRT place, came in at 395. "Everyone under 600 gets treatment here." he told me. His goal is to keep your level at ~850 with weekly injections (which you go to his clinic to receive), figuring that means your level peaked at 1,000 mid week.

I've heard of other places that are happy to see bloodwork results come back at 1,000.

Went to a urologist this morning who completely dismissed the need for TRT, told me 850 was high. He also had his head up his assistant about a few other things, so educate yourself and don't stop just because some jackals looks at a number on a clipboard and dismisses your concerns.
