Best advice I can give is always go with the lowest amount of gear for as long as you can while still making gains and little to no negative side effects. But with the cycle it's of utmost importance to make the necessary changes to your diet and lifestyle choices. No amount of gear or training will give you the gains you want until those are fine tuned.
Also, while you want to make the most gains as possible, you also want to make for as long as possible while staying healthy. I'm 56yrs young and whenever I get physicals and blood work done my Dr's always tell me that I'm in better shape than most people half my age!
