i deactivated my facebook almost a full week ago now

i feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders...i'll activate it again to download my saved pics, but for now it's only a distraction in life and my personal growth and goals...so it's off for a while...just wanted you all to know so nobody freaks out that doesn't already have my cell number

facebook is like drugs...i had alot of fun and stories to tell but nothing good ever really came of it...

i found it was addicting and consuming me...i'd wake up to pee at night and each time log into my cell and check fb for updates and stuff...losing the ability to communicate effectively face to face...i may reactivate it later, but for now i'm keeping it shut down and filling my time in other ways

I agree, never had one either. Plus no friends so it worked out good. I did start a FB for my company, and i found people put the dumbest shit. One thing that i talk about is a girl maybe 16/17 posted "home alone" one of my workers posted his mother was a whore and slept with ever cop in his town. She was a school principal.
The dumb shit people talk about is crazy, a coustomer who when him and his wife would fight would fight on FB so the next time i saw them i often wanted to say something.

I have one and I use it to keep up with all my old Army friends. I found my Entire Team I was in Korea with 16 years ago. They are spread all over the country and I can communicate with them often.

Its only trouble if you let it be. If you are a person who attracts drama, then FB can be an issue. If you use it to stay in touch with friends and the world then its no big deal.

I have one, it is nice to keep in touch with people I went to high school with. I have had drama on there, but living in a small town creates drama regardless. I agree with CH3NO2 though, if you let it be trouble it will be, otherwise it isn't bad

i was thinking it was because of me lol my crazy ass might have scared you. i rarely use fb ive gone months without signing on and usually just check it when someone tells me they friend requested me. my gf gets on almost daily and she keeps me updated on things going on/drama

sometimes i need to be fully focused on my goals and get away from whatever might hold me back or distract me

I'm young enough to be considered part of generation book, but I never got one. I think it would be great to have for networking purposes and keeping contact, but I haven't got around to creating one yet.

I check my news feed and post pics on FB and that's it. Its very easy not to get caught up in FB bullshit if you just dnt allow it.

I'm an intensly private person who has unlisted phone number and all my business stuff always gets put in my managers name. Although I have some local notriety, I rarely make appearances for my gym events. My manager is the face of my gym although I may be forced to start promoting myself more to increase biz.

So FB is out of the question, with no offense to those on it.

I hate FB with a passion I really do, but it is nice to catch up with old friends from college and what not I must admit.

Plus without exaggerating over the last 3 years, FB probably pulled me 10+ women I would have never slept with bc I met them on there..at the same time,in some ways that even that brought me more headaches in a sense then it was worth..

It is a good tool for advertising a company etc though IMO.

All that matters is that it does. If that is the case than I don't do it and she does the same for me. I am a very private person for the most part and I prefer my communications stay private as well.

I 100% Dude.. Me and my wife had on when we first meet. And that didn't last long. We posted a couple times back and fourth and. The drama started from other people. So facebook was gone for good. And we don't miss it at all.

I lasted 4 days lol...I reactivated it cause some other chics in bham area from pof site wanted it...I'm moving for me so there's no harm in making as many friends as possible down there before I move...just in case things don't work out with me and my girl...

I hate facebook but seen to get on it everyday lol. My wife and I share one so Its not likely imma get in any trouble getting on there.
