Over the weekend, the long-awaited IFBB Balkan Championships took place in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. With a large number of participants, athletes competed for the prestigious title of Balkan Champion in their respective categories: Vasko Mamuccvski from North Macedonia in Bodybuilding, Bayat Fahrican from Turkey in Men’s Physique, Radostina Radeva from Bulgaria in Bikini Fitness, and Getinkaya Berking from Turkey in Men’s Classic Bodybuilding.
The IFBB Fitness Challenge -Speed Fit Competition also took place in which Popa Lucian from Romania won in the Silver Individual Men’s Category, and Vasilescu Oana won in the Silver Individual Women’s Category. These two competitors stood out by also winning the Mixed Couples category!
During his visit, President Santonja was honored to meet with the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Stevo Pendarovski, the Sports Director of the Macedonian Olympic Committee, Mr. Vladimir Bogoevski, and the Director of the Sports Agency, Mr. Naumche Mojsovski, among other officials.
