OK... I am just way too fat to post all my pics, but I'll post the changes to my back.

Pre shot was 1 year ago at 169lbs. Post shot was this week (5/20/03) at 223lbs. (slightly down cuz I have a cold now).

I just need to start cutting and get some definition!

flame away... (hope the pic posting works!)

You damn near doubled your thickness, great work bro. I didn't know you were a whiteboy, I thought you were Japanese, what brought you to live in Japan ?? Besides all the woman you pulled over there, like you need another reason.

poopoo: I'm 6 feet even.

choke: thanks, bro. Lots of heavy lat pulls, and rows. And yes, I'm half a white boy. Mama is Native American though, so I tan quickly and rarely burn. As for Japan? MOstly language... also the fighting arts. Ladies were just a bonus! *smile*

rugby: I think the Tat mostly looks bigger because in the Pre pic, my pose was fucked up and I didn't stretch out my shoulders.. but it may have stretched a bit from growth, too. *shrug*

Looks like it grew to me too (tatoo).
nice work, really shows the effort paid off.

Now turn around. :)

What style of martial arts do you train in?

Ryukyu karate - but it is mostly full contact w/ headgear and gloves, and then full contact grappling (strikes allowed below jaw, all chokes, locks, and pressure points allowed).

Put on quite a lot of mass. Sure can tell by the tatoo, like everyone else said.

What do your tat symbols say? BTW your back is looking pretty good, You do need to add something in the spinal erector/lower back area.

tat says "Peace" in Japanese. Got it from a Yakuza tattoo artist in Tokyo.

Bleed Green: Any suggestions on how to work the erectors? Deadlifts kill them to the point where I can't walk and it screws up my squats.

try those racks where you strap your legs in and lie horizontally with your lower hip on the pad and upper body free to move up and down.

here is what I mean. you would have have to use it the opposite way, face down.

Dam Bro, good for you! That is one hell of a change in lifestyle, I had a few friends have extended stay's over there, mostly Kodakan Judoka (Sp?) players, althought they all loved it they all said it was a very difficult transition and became very homesick.

good improvement japan69, nice size..... like u said u need to loose a bit fat, but other than that looking much better.

Choke - I've been here for 7 years. I'm pretty used to it by now, but I want to go home to a real country. *smile* Btw, Kodokan isn't that great for judo compared to some other clubs, but in general I have nothin but respect for judo guys - always in great shape and never afraid to get down and dirty. Most karate guys are absolute pussies by comparison. (but you probably already know that)

Poopoo: Thanks.. ok, so you mean do back extensions. I used to do those all the time before I started incorporating deadlifts into my routine. I guess I could go back to those.. they certainly hurt less the next day!

I know it's a bad photo - the lights were out... but you can see I was able to cut down quite a bit. I lost too much mass and strength.... now I am rarin to get bulked up again.

If I hadn't lost my sources I would be already!! *smile*
Anyway... just thought I would update... since i have been off the board a while. Hope all the bros here are doin well!
