This time of year, a jean jacket is often exactly the right thing for a motorcycle ride. For YEARS, I have worn Lee jean jackets. My current one is probably at least 10 years old and getting raggedy. My wife ordered me a new one, same size (Large) - I will not address the reduced weight gabric here - it doesn't fit. Not even close. The arms are WAY too small. And the midsection is cut like a freakin pup tent.
Mind you, I'm not a huge guy: 5-10; 200lbs; maybe 10% bf. Under 17" arms. Granted, I'm bigger than the average guy my height, but my old jacket fits, even with a sweatshirt (size XL) under it.
So, the jacket got shipped back. We decide, "Let's go to the Levis outlet store nearby and see what they have..." Well, good news: Levis are a little heavier at least, let's see if they fit: nothing doing. Large is quite small. XL comes a little closer, but is TIGHT on my arms. XXL is pretty much too big all over - except in the arms, where it's still snug. Couldn't even fit a flannel shirt under it, never mind a sweatshirt.
So, strike-out at Levis, too. I will give them credit for not cutting the jackets for fatso's.
Do you wear a denim jacket? Where can a guy who's in half decent shape get one that fits???
