Winner — Marcela Mattos
Mattos’ previous contest was the 2023 RGV Pro, where she finished fourth overall. This is her first pro victory and first Olympia qualification.
Mattos earned all first-place votes on the judges’ scorecards in prejudging and finals. Mattos can take an extended off-season to prepare for the 2024 Olympia. Should she compete in another pro show and win, she would block that show’s Olympia qualification from being issued.
Second Place — Daniele Mendonca
Mendonca was coming off a 15th-place finish in the 2023 Wellness Olympia, won by Francielle Mattos. Mendonca was considered a favorite to win this show and claim the Olympia roster spot, but it was not meant to be.
Only show winners qualify for the 2024 Olympia, which means Mendonca will have to compete at least one more time and win a pro show to compete in Las Vegas.
Third Place — Rafaelle Zen
This was Zen’s first onstage appearance since placing fifth in the 2022 Miami Muscle Beach Pro. The third-year pro secured her best finish on a pro stage to date, but it wasn’t enough to overtake the top two finishers.
Other Notes
The 2024 IFBB Pro League schedule has yet to be released at the time of this article’s publication. The next confirmed Wellness show set to take place is the 2024 Wellness International, which is a part of the 2024 Arnold Classic in Columbus, OH, on March 1-3, 2024.
