I am not taking anything else.
Right now I need to get my weight down so that I can get in to sprint training and ease the pressure on my shins along with orthodics and biomechanics analysis. Im not really interested in building muscle at the moment and will re-evaluate when I get down to my maintenance weight.
ive been dieting and training for a few years and the same common theme is if i eat a few g ove my carbs or even high gi carbs than low gi i will put on 600g-1.2kgs overnight and will take a week of low gi and hard training to lose that 600g.
I believe now we are considering early stages of PCOS.
so the Dr prescribed it to me this morning.
currently on 50mcg of t3
and 100mcg of clen- have only lost about 500g this week.
macros are 100p 80f and 150 carbs.
im wondering if i should increase some of these whilst taking the extra stuff. I have a macros coach but not willing to tell her about the added supplements.
Dr prescribed the metformin to be taken in the mornings after food. Its a relatively low dosage of 500.
I do have low blood glucose when fasted and insulin sensitivity. regularly my cortisol is through the roof too.
was planning on taping off both t3 and clen for the next week then will just use metformin for 2 weeks to see what it does by itself and then reevaluate in 3 weeks time.
It sounds like you're really having a tough time geting the results you want, but hang in there. They will come!
I'm sorry to hear things things seem to be such a challenge though.
You say you're training, so you should be gaining a little muscle if your getting enough protein.
I understand that you want to get your weight down before focusing on adding a lot of muscle.
I'm sure you know this, but the scale is of the DEVIL! I hope you're taking measurements.
That may help you feel better, because some of that weight could be muscle mass.
Anyway, it really is important to get rid of as much fat as possible before you start getting into Anabolics and such.
You probably already know all of this considering you have Dr's and Coaches.
That's awesome! I wish i could afford all that help.
Anyway, I hope the Metformin helps. I'm curious to know how that goes.
I know it's not the same as insulin, but I'm still a little hesitant to try it.
Best of luck!
