My ex is half Thai and was born there. From experience I can tell you, your money would go a crazy long way. My in laws built a crazy badass house in Udorn Thani on a big hunk of beautiful property, and that house here would have been $300k+ all day long. They paid like $38k to have the land cleared and custom built.
