There's a new research chemical bass on the prescription drug Modafinil. For those of you who don't know what Modafinil is, it's basically prescribed for narcolepsy, and get enhance focus and concentration like adderall but without the "stimmed out, crack feeling.
The addition of the 2 fluorine atoms on the phenyl rings can greatly enhance its have-life, as well as increasing hyrodphobicity(dissolves in fat) fluorine chemistry is very fascinating and a been shown in other drugs it can dramatically increase the half life and increase that zoned in focus. The addition of fluorine atoms, and many studies can back this up, is that it is :1)a very strong bond 2)many times blocks the enzyme from breaking it down, increases hydrophobicity(bioavailability in the body) and decreases oxidation of that site.
Fluorine also acts as a hydrogen bond acceptor, meaning it can bind more effectively and tightly to the receptor. Fluorine is the most electronegative atom, which can affect other function groups on the molecule, meaning bases are less basic and acids are extremely more acidic. Early research(currently in clinical trials) say it's 2-4x more potent vs modafinil, and up to 20x more potent than adrafinil. BOTTOM LINE: suggested(there's not a part I could find on it) dose is around 20-50mg at once, maybe work your way up to 100mg.
