Murphys Law

Between being sick as a dog and having a family member being hospitalized a few days before christmas, I'd have to say murphy law is in full effect. Luckily enough I'm starting to recover from being sick and can finally get back into the gym and feeling pretty strong since I've fattened up from the stress over the past two weeks. Time to get back at it and make up for lost time I guess.

Rain,

Hope you get to feeling better soon and your family member is doing well. Been sick myself but hit it hard yesterday. Rock on brother!!

Stress is a motherf8cker cause it will change you. You will behave different than you usually do. Stay up late when you always go to bed early. Eat poorly. Loose motivation. Snap at people because you think they are attacking you. The list goes on and on.
I just went through some hella stress and at one point was having insomnia and acid reflux. Eventually you make it through but if its bad enough it takes a piece of ya. Can take weeks or months to be the animal you once were.
Im still dealing with it , trying to right the ship is difficult. Just remember when you think about it, whatever shit you went through you made it and you handled it.

Number 1 rule to avoid getting sick. Stay away from someone who is sick because that is the way almost all diseases are spread.

Take it from me, a harder core gym owner in a small market during a recession. I feel stress from the minute I get up to the minute I go to bed as biz is down and has been for several yrs now. Like the title, Murphys Law, it seems if it can go wrong, it will at least in my world. Facing and dealing with adversity is a challenge and I like challenges but get sicked and tired of forever being tested.

Sorry Rain I got off topic but yes we all deal w shit everyday. At age 57, I never in a million yrs ever dreamed my life could be this hard, like Dave Draper told me "age but dont get old" how true. Hope yr feeling better
