Musclemania, Miami this June..anyone going?

it's one of those cities you either love it or you hate it, there is no in between...
some of the guys I worked with down there wouldn't trade it for the world

personally, I prefer Tampa, Orlando, and Ft. Lauderdale(sp?) as far as FL is concerned

Every single person I know from new jersey who left to move to Florida all of em have moved back to jersey, like stated above u either love it or hate it, i never been there though, just clearwater

Well, i didnt want to tell you this but i went to that show two years a go, Muscle Mania in Downtown Miami.

First of is a natural show that is not natural, no one did any test to the athletes back stage and every body had use steroids, most of the mexicans came jacked and some ingenuous guys where "natural and didnt have a chance.
One of my friends was competing on that show and he just competed 2 weeks before in an NPC sow and got second (full jacked of corse)
and he got second again in the Muscle Mania against on of the mexicans that could have win any show any where, NPC write....

They have so many diferences with the NPC rules, and they all did a gay routine. One of the guys came to the stage with a marine suit and playing a military song and they he stripped and started a stripping act.....man that sucked, fu..ing gay, i was so piss watcing that shit.
Most of the gays...sorry guys, had long hair and they absully performed stupid posing routines with balls and custumes.

They also have a pro division, and they werent natural either, i laugh about it but i was more piss than before.

Then all the photographers had set up all photo shoot in the hotel rooms to really perform...do you know what i mean. Porno stuff for gays and stuff.
I have heard a lot of people that wants to go to that show looking for the oportunity to shine as an star, it is their desition, it is their problem, i relly dont care and dont critizize if any one wants to make their living doing that but i will never go again to that circus.

Same with everyone I know! Florida sucks... and they're wayyy too laid back, drive too slow, etc.

I wouldn't mind checking out the show if timing and finances worked out, but it's not in the plans as of right now... so probably not.

Hey take it easy, im from florida. Headed to the beach today, which I can see from my house. What are you doing today? Shoveling snow so you can get to your car? lol, haha. South Fl is like another country, and the panhandle is a bunch of rednecks. But thats where the pretty white sand beaches are. and where I will be. :wave:

LOL, i like snow! It's pretty nice up here today actually...

I've only been to South Florida twice (Ft Lauderdale and Clearwater). That was pretty nice, but it's too humid for me in the summer months.

I know what you mean about that show...Its ran by Lou Zwick...(at least it use to be) Im not sure about that anymore, but he use to run those natty shows that werent natty...Its a joke really...Zwick wanted me to do those shows a long time ago, when I was in my teens and early twenty's...He promised me a bunch of crap that he never came threw with...I did one show for him when I was in my early twenty's up in Canada...I forgot what it was called...anyway, I actully did the show clean (I went clean for almost a year to pass the test) and then I get there and no test was to be found...I quit doing those shows after that and got jacked again...LOL !!!
